We have friends, who like the other reviewer, have great things to say about the other infant room, but I can't say the same about the Panda room. Our son joined the Panda room in August at 7.5 months. Overall, we were disappointed in the quality of care provided by this room. We had some concerns about the level of care our son was receiving--he was just learning how to sit and my husband would come to pick him up at night and he'd be screaming in the middle of the room sitting up on the concrete floor with no adult nearby; he had a bruise on his face that no one could explain (I know kids get bruises but at least they should know how a fairly immobile baby got a bruise); and he was always crying when we came into the room--so I decided to watch their interaction with him on video one morning (the rooms have a camera in them that you can watch from the Parent's room). I watched on video as they proceeded to leave him crying in the jumper for 45 minutes after my husband put him in the jumper in the morning. No one so much as spoke to him during the time that I watched him. One of the women proceeded to show something on her cell phone to the other women in the room (3 of them had their hands free and were talking outside of the gated area where the kids were located), while he was still crying. I came back at lunch that day to watch again only to find him wailing under the high chairs with other kids' table food (he wasn't eating table food yet) on his face and clothes. I listened to him cry outside the room for 3-4 minutes before I went in the room to find, once again, women without babies in their hands, completely ignoring our son. The look on their faces said enough when I walked into the room.
The assistant director watched the video and agreed that this was an unacceptable level of care. Her solution was to talk to the ladies to let them know that babies shouldn't be allowed to cry for more than a few minutes. While I don't expect someone to hold our son all day, I also don't expect them to completely ignore him. I do not recommend Elaine Rosi to parents looking for a caring environment for their infant..

We have been sending our son to Elaine Rosi Academy since he was 12 weeks old. We love it there. We wanted an established place in a convenient location that offered structure and lots of variety in learning and we found it at Elaine Rosi! The teachers in the infant (Butterfly) room are simply delightful. We have zero qualms leaving our child in their care and know that he will be very well taken care of. Now that he is older (10 months), they feed him breakfast, lunch and snack which takes a lot of pressure off of us in the morning. We love that the infant room is divided in half so that the larger more mobile babies don't trample/crawl over the tiny ones. Also, the separate napping room is awesome! Each of the staff members have been very kind and the attention to detail and adherance to policies and procedures in the classroom is so precise, it is almost tedious. (That's a good thing!) The price is higher than many other institutions in the area, but we feel like you get what you pay for. We hope to be able to continue sending our children to ERA for quite some time!
