I just had my first experience with E and B granite and it was terrible! When choosing the cut for the edges of my counter top, Cara, the sales person, advised me not to go with the bull nose cut because liquid will seep into the cabinets and then eventually cause wear. Another person working there also agreed. I decided to go with the same cut that I had chosen for my bathrooms instead. When the counter tops came in, they were the bull nose cut. Instead of trying to offer a solution or compensation of some sort, Cara just kept making excuses. She said that the bull nose was a more expensive. Well I don't care. That was not the cut I chose or wanted! Now I am stuck with these counter tops and they will not do anything about it. I am beyond disgusted with the service of this company. This was their mistake so they should be the ones coming up with a solution. Counter tops are a huge purchase so I would go with a company who pays more attention to detail. I would not recommend E and B granite to anyone!

The communication during the ordering process was very average but the prices they quoted me for Cesarstone was so much better than other places, I decided to go with them. I didn't see lots of negative reviews and my contractor knew some people that worked there so I went for it. Big mistake. We were happy that they could squeeze us in for install before the Christmas break but in retrospect, I think these men were in a hurry to get their vacation started. Maybe they began the party a little early and that's why they messed up?
The mistakes:
1. In the kitchen, they drilled the number of holes wrong for the faucets (both the faucet on the perimeter and one on the island) and then glued the counters down. So we could not demand new counters because prying the counters off would risk damaging the new cabinets. Instead we filled the extra holes with garbage disposal buttons and one hole for the sprayer is just way off to the side. Plus we now have a dummy switch on the way where the disposal switch used to be.
2. There are some weird white blotches on the cesarstone that they claim is normal because it's man made. Looks like a defect to me - maybe that's why they get it cheap?
3. The hole for the disposal button on the island was not drilled circular, more of an oval, so the round button does not stay in place and used to pop off weekly. Now it doesn't stay on at all.
4. The faucet holes in one bathroom were also drilled wrong (not straight). I had my plumber take the faucet apart to confirm the problem was with E & B and not the faucet install. The hole can be widened, I think, which would allow the faucet handle to slide forward and bit but at this point I'm scared to let E&B near my house.
5. The perimeter corner in the kitchen is crooked.
I have pictures of all of this.
I'd sue to get some of my money back but I'm not that type of person. Instead, I thought I'd use my anger to write this review and encourage others to stay far away from this business. You get what you pay for....

It was clear on our first visit that E&B Granite was truly interested in getting rid of their remnants due to the price and service we received. At the time, all of their remnants were priced identically, even the "exotic" options, which I'm always drawn to. Their pricing was extremely competitive and helped make our decision easy. It was only about a $100 more to purchase their remnant than to purchase a solid surface molded top from the place we purchased the vanity from.
Their pricing is very upfront. There were no surprise charges at payment or delivery. They also found a blemish in the top we originally picked and helped us find a "soon to be remnant" of the same pattern. We shopped around quite a bit before finding E&B and making this decision. Go here first!

I went to Eand B after getting the run around on pricing from other granite stores. Their pricing is very straight forward and provided up front. The installation was with in a week of buying the granite and went on without a hitch. I would definitely recommend and use for future needs

Horrible experience! At Collinsville store when tried to order counter told to come back cause salesman was too busy. No instructions given in writing once counters ordered. Didn't know counter was to be removed before they came to measure. The counters were cut wrong. After the counters were recut, installers didn't come on arranged reinstall day (mother drove 2 hours to help get kitchen in order). Once installed the drawer wouldn't close because of extra blocks/glue placed under counter.

We went to their showroom after a frustrating day of trying to find a granite remnant for our custom-built china cabinet. The sales person was extremely helpful, and took us back to the shop where they had a ton of leftover stone. He listened to our color requests and helped us find a stone that worked with the wood/wall paint color and that was the right size. They were able to interact with our builder, cut the stone to the correct shape/angles, and polished it. It was delivered on time and the price was cheaper than my builder had told me to expect.

We actually went to the store in Fairview Heights but I believe they have several others in the Metro area. After going to the big box stores, we just weren't sold based on the level of service we received in the sales process. The showroom at E&B wasn't quite complete yet, however the salesperson was very friendly and was not aggressive. I was rehabbing my kitchen, so it took a bit longer than anticipated, however they still honored the "limited time special" that was on the quote. They were very thorough with the template process, which took nearly 4 hours. As is typical, we went to the distributor in St Louis to personally pick out our slabs. The installers were punctual and professional and the counter tops are beautiful. All for a price that was much better than the big boxes.

This was the second rehabbed kitchen I've done and I have to say I'm kicking myself for not working with E&B on the first house I did. The first time we went through Home Depot. So here's what's great. E&B is big enough that they actually stock slabs onsite so that you don't have to go to their supplier. We walked in on Monday, found a slab we liked, negotiated a fanastic deal, had templates done on Wednesday. The granite was installed the following Thursday! Everyone from Shaun the sales guy to the template guy to the installation guys were friendly, courteous & thorough! It still amazes me that it was only one week from template to install. Every other estimate was for a 3-4 week install. All-in-all it was a fantastic experience.
