Worst experience ever! A pool, pool house, spa and landscaping was suppose to take 6 months and took 3 years with us terminating this company in April 2018. In May 2018 when we tried to open our new pool it would not hold water due to the pipes being cracked under both sides of our flagstone patio surrounding the pool. We had to have the entire sides of the patio jack hammered out to fix the pipes. The Stone Scapes finish on the interior of the pool is a complete disaster and has to be completely redone which costs anywhere form 12,000-19,000. There are holes, uneven color and spots so rough that our kids have been cut while swimming. All this is nothing compared to dealing with Tom Dunn. I have never dealt with anyone so dishonest, rude and unprofessional. STAY AWAY from this company!

Run from this company.  He took the money and ran.

Horrible!  Tom Dunn is unethical, unprofessional, difficult to work with and dishonorable.  Took 11 months and he did not complete our job or return majority of my $45000 deposit. Crew broke drain pipe in our yard.  Instead of telling my husband - who was at home when they broke the pipe--they filled it with rocks and put dirt on top to cover up.  We called to discuss with Tom, but he wouldn't take our call.  He returned our call 5 days later and left a rather rude message saying we were ridiculous.  We had water back up in our basement, called plumber who told us the debris in broken drain pipe is reason for water and sewer back up.  Tried to reach Tom again only to have our calls ignored.
Work performed:            Installed small stamped patio concrete, 3'x2' pond, plants we did not agree to
Work NOT performed:  Did not provide design plans, did not install irrigation system, did not landscape lighting,did not reinstall existing wrought iron fence, did not install sod and left 3 small 1' wide rocks for the boulders.
Tom Dunn is a chameleon:  nice and personable until he receives 50% deposit Certified Check.  Then he completely turns on you. Avoids problems, does not return calls, and if you actually reach him he is defensive, argumentative, and abrasive.  He yells and hangs up before conversation is completed.  Two work associates and a client were with me when I called to leave him a message when he picked up the phone thinking it was an extension.  I inquired when my irrigation system would installed (June and 1/year after paying deposit. He started screaming at me and was so loud, everyone walking into the restaurant with me heard him).
He would not return calls, and letters we sent via Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested were refused.  Based on his costs provided for each service received, he still owes me over $10K.  
RUN as fast as you can from Tom Dunn, Dunn Lawn and Land!

Do not use this contractor!! 
He uses underskilled laborers,
changes from a lump sum to time & material contract, moves at a
snails pace, provides inadequate documentation of expenses, does not finish
parts of the job, provides sub-standard work then calls you irrational
when you question him.  The owner, Tom Dunn, is very unprofessional,
stopped responding to communication, started using his unskilled
laborers for subcontractor work.  We had to hire multiple professional consultants to deal with him.  He cost us a lot of money, the
backyard project took over 18 months, and he still isn't finished.  We
are left with a headache and his excuses and bad behavior.  Want to

It was a horrific experience. They had no supervision and they did not speak English so I could not communicate with them. They got behind schedule because it rained and I have to rebuild the entire wall! I will never have them on my property again!!

Terrible. This is the absolute worst company I've dealt with in my life. Tom Dunn made promises that he could not keep, didn't keep, and still hasn't resolved the outstanding issues and it's been 9 months. 25% of the over 100 plants that were to be planted were either planted in the wrong location, were the wrong plant, and many that died haven't been replaced. The agreed schedule was 4 to 6 weeks, beginning early July and ending mid-August. The project started two weeks late and to date, has never been completed. Project management was virtually non-existent, yet pre-payment demands were constant. I've been in touch with many of his ex-employees (none stay more than a season due to payroll issues) and also 5 of his latest customers - all have had the same terrible experience. He hasn't returned my last two calls and did not respond to my last two emails.

GOOD JOB. THEY DID LANDSCAPING YEARS AGO AND THEY STILL MAINTAIN IT.

ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY COURTEOUS. THEY DO THEIR JOB VERY WELL.
