We needed a bannister replaced quickly because my wife was coming home from surgery and really needed it to navigate the stairs. Bob Donohue came out right after I called to estimate. Did the job the next day, although it was a weekend and it was ready in plenty of time. The work was excellent. Bob really made the extra effort because he could see we were in a fix.

Working with this company was a delight.  Bob came out promptly to look at the job and give an estimate. The work was started in a very reasonable time after Bob's first visit.  The job went just as Bob anticipated.  His worker (Joe) was wonderful to have in our home.  He was prompt, clean, courteous, and worked quickly and efficiently.  He moved the washer & dryer back into place and made sure they were level on the floor. I would use this company again.

It went extremely well. They showed up and did really good work. They answer all your questions and call you back on time.  Also, the owner comes by and check on the workers every day.

Excellent. Bob and Cathy were friendly and professional from start to finish. They are good communicators, so we felt like we always knew what was going on. Cathy gave us honest input on our color selections. And when everything was finished, they did a quality check and gave us a detailed color schedule. Awesome.

The job was done in an extremely timely manner by professional and courteous painters. The preceding color consultation was outstanding. The job was checked by the owner after completion to make sure it was done well. I highly recommend this company. It is worth the money.

Bob and Cathy Donahue are the owners of this company. Dealing with them was a stress free and enjoyable experience. All calls made were promptly returned. Both Cathy and Bob were extremely helpful in our selection of colors.
Our stairway handrails and banisters need to be replaced or refinished (if the stairway was replaced, it would still need to be stained or painted as the stairway companies don't do that kind of work). They provided bids for us to compare both ways.
Instead of staining, we decided to have the stairway painted and it turned out beautiful! Joe and Mike (two of Bob's painters) did an outstanding job. They were at our home when promised and did a great job in a timely manner. We would be remiss not to mention how well they covered everything including the floor, and cleaned up every day. Bob was on sight daily to monitor quality and the progress of work. It was definitely their attention to detail that impressed us.
Noticing the excellent work they were doing, we asked if they could correct some sloppy work done by our kitchen contractor--primarily caulking, covering nail holes, and a few other things. They did an excellent job correcting these things.
Bob and Cathy are a lovely couple and we do appreciate the excellent service they provided. They definitely provided quality work and we just can't say enough good things about their Company. We will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects.

We had a remodeling project where an existing wall and door were removed to a finished basement to allow for a bannister and handrail to open up the space. The painter did impeccable work, used dropcloths everywhere, used tape, etc. A few walls, partial ceiling, and spindles on bannister were painted, rest of bannister and handrail were stained and color from existing wood in area was matched perfectly.

Bob and Cathy Donahue are amazing to wortk with. They are not only meticulous in their work but they are honest, helpful, and just fun to work with! When we started the project, they gave us an estimate. However, as we went along, we kept adding to the list of things to be done so the price of the job changed significantly.
What we really want to stress is the quality of the work they do. Many people who have been here have commented
that they can't believe how beautiful the work is, especially the trim and woodwork. In addition, Cathy had some great
ideas for colors and combining colors in a room.
We would not hesitate to recommend Donahue Painting and Refinishing!!
