We acted as the general contractor, and Don helped us work out the schedule of what contractors needed to come in and when. He was great with the kids who were always interested in what he was doing. He finished on time, and dealt with obstacles and changes well. He also finished on budget save a couple of those unexpected obstacles that rightfully took him a fair amount of time to work around. He also did a good job of managing our expectations up front. He clearly cares about the quality of his work. I will definitely hire him again.

He is honest and hard working. He treats his property as if it were his own. He is not satisfied until you're satisfied.

Absolutely perfect planning, timing and execution.

He expertly blended the new with the old -- a 1940 cottage. Although Don is not the cheapest contractor, his common sense, adaptability and strong problem solving skills helped us avoid mistakes that others probably would have made. We have complete trust in his abilities and will use him for future work. But for the electricians, the sub-contractors Don uses are all highly professional.

DAN WAS IMMENSELY RESPONSIVE AND WONDERFULLY STRAIGHT FORWARD ABOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS. ALL CONTRACTORS HE WORKED WITH WERE EXCELLENT.

DON IS A VERY EXPERIENCED CARPENTER. HE WAS GOOD AT COMING UP WITH SOLUTIONS TO FIX SOME ISSUES CAUSED BY FAULTY CRAFTSMANSHIP OF THE ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION. HE WAS LATE ONCE OR TWICE AND HAD A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH SOME PHYSICAL SITUATIONS BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS WITH HIS KNEES, BUT THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK WAS EXCELLENT. HE'S A PRO, EASY TO WORK WITH, AND A REALLY NICE GUY. I CAN'T REPORT ON THE PRICE BECAUSE HE WORKED FOR US AS A SUB-CONTRACTOR SUPPLIED BY OUR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER, AND THE ENGINEER BILLED US FOR THE COMPLETE JOB. HOWEVER, THE BREAKOUT OF THE ENGINEER'S BILL FOR CARPENTRY SERVICES WAS VERY REASONABLE.
