Brendt Travis used a driveway sealant on our aggregate patio. I spoke to the President of Specco Industries about the product and he said he should have used a product specifically for aggregate concrete. After agreeing to refund $300 to me due to the problem, he reneged on our deal and told me the patio was fine. It continues to become milky and come off the surface of the patio any time it rains. He is not a man of his word and has exhibited an extreme lack of integrity.

Mr. Travis provided an estimate which was more than reasonable. He told us he had to complete his current jobs and would let us know when he could start working. Then the rains came. He contacted us during the rainy season and told us when to expect them. They arrived as expected. They did a wonderful job of power washing our stained driveway. The sealer dried in just a few hours. They left no mess behind. Our driveway looks as good as new. We will definitely contact Mr. Travis when it is time to seal again. We have already recommended this small family business to our neighbors.

The work was performed on time. The owner (Brendt Travis) did the work. He is an exceptionally hard-working and diligent professional, with an eye for detail and perfection. He left the place spotless and returned after the job to insure the work was satisfactory. Our driveway and patio look virtually new. Neighbors who have inspected the work have contacted this contractor for bids.

Brett arrived on time for estimate when appointment set. He was very professional. We thought at the time his estimate was high, but we liked his professionalism and knowledge and the fact he does all the work himself. He was at our home several hours on two different occasions. He's a hard worker and goes non-stop. Very conscientious and courteous. We were pleased with the results of his work. He was concerned about our dogs walking on the fresh joint filler and patched holes, and therefore applied extra sand so the sticky rubber substance wouldn't get on our pets paws. He was a very good worker - a pleasure to do business with. We still feel though that the price was bit too high and can't help but feel this happens a lot do to the appearance of the homes in our subdivision...perhaps above average. In hind site, we should have negotiated a lower price or got a second estimate. Other than the price, we would definitely hire him again and recommend him to friends/neighbors.

Brett was an extremely hard worker and very personable. He was a stickler for details, which made the overall job done extremely professional. He even checked back after a week to make sure everything was satisfactory. I will definitely use his services again.

We have a 12 year old home and we had never sealed our concrete driveway. Brendt was very prompt in coming to my home for a bid. He explained what we needed and the cost. We have a large (551 linear ft) driveway and he explained the process and what he planned to do. He completed the treatment to my driveway as if it were his own. He filled in many of the divits in the concrete with sealer before he sealed the whole thing and laid down sand to keep debri out of the caulking. I would recommend him highly for his professionalism and quality in what he does.

Brendt came to bid on a small patch repair job in my sidewalk. It was about 3ft x 2.5ft. He said the area surrounding that damaged area was hollow and thus would have to be removed. So he bided for 30x2.5 ft area. It was much more extensive than I wanted it but I agreed to it because I did not know much about concrete repair. The job he did seems to be reasonable and I would have given him a much higher score but he called me after he had taken out the sidewalk to tell me that it would cost extra $200. He insisted that it was for the material not the labor. I do not understand how that made me any difference and how he underestimated on the material if he has been doing this for 20+ years like he claimed. Increase in the cost was not a reflection of increase in work it was just underestimation. I reluctantly okayed it. Then after he finished I asked if he fixed the small crack which I had asked him to fix at the time of the estimate. He said no and gave me many reasons why he did not want to. I reminded him that he had assured me several times that he would take care of it. At that point he said "though it is not in the bid I will still fix it for you". It it then I realized that this guy lacked integrity. After increasing the project cost by $200 he wanted to get by without doing what was agreed upon prior to the start of the job and make it sound as though he was doing me a great favor by finishing. Unfortunately, I also had a ticked off neighbor during this project. When I questioned Brendt about this he said that his son offered my neighbor to pour mortar mix into her meticulously kept flagstone walkway. She found that to be a rude as she walked away. I can understand her annoyance toward this unsolicited offer. Overall, I regret having hired this contractor and will not hire him again or recommend him.

"WHEN I BID THE WORK , I WASN'T AWARE OF THE COAL CIDERS FROM THE OLD COAL FURNACES THAT LAID UNDER THE EXSITING CONCRETE I REMOVED. IN MUCH OF THE AREA THE CONCRETE WAS ONLY WAS 1/2 INCH THICK. I THEN HAD TO REMOVE THE COAL CIDERS, APPLY A FRESH BED OF GRAVEL2"-3" DEEP. THEN I PROCEED TO POUR THE NEW SIDEWALK 3" THICK. I ALSO REPAIRED A SMALL CRACK IN THE REAR SIDEWALK THAT WAS BEING PUSHED UP BY A TREE ROOT AND MENTIONED TO THE MEMBER THAT IT WAS GOING TO CONTINUE IN THE FUTURE TO RAISE AND CRACK. I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE MEMBERS DISAPPOINTMENT-I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH CONCRETE FOR 20 YEARS AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE COMPLETED JOB AND FELT IT WAS FAIR TO ASK FOR THE ADDITIONAL $200 TO COVER THE COST OF MATERIAL AND LABOR. Because of all A ratings on Angies List I called this company to repair the small concrete front porch and sidewalk in front of of home. While he was here he noticed that there were also some cracks in my asphalt driveway. He said he could repair the sidewalk and porch for $475.00. I agreed and he did a good job at this. The sidewalk and porch look good. The problems is the driveway. I did not ask him to repair the drivway at this point. I was not home when he came to repair the sidewalk and porch and he told my husband he could repair the driveway for an additional $200. What he did was pour concrete into the cracks of the asphalt driveway. This is no ordinary driveway, it is called Streetprint, it is a brick color and looks like bricks. So you can imagine what pouring gray concrete into these cracks looks like. I was so upset when I got home and saw what had been done and especially for an extra $200. It was even a very messy job and since the concrete is already hardened nothing can be done to clean it up. Hopefully when we apply the brick sealer over it, it may not look so bad. Had he not done anything to our driveway I would have given him a good rating because the walk and porch look great but OH MY, the driveway is a mess!

"I Brendt Travis owner of Concrete Crack Repair and Sealer was hired by the members to repair their sidewalk and small porch. When I went to bid the work I noticed that they had a crack in their stamped asphalt driveway. I then gave them my a bid to complete these repairs. Later on once the cars where moved I noticed additional ,cracks on their driveway. Since she was out of town, I got permission from her husband to go ahead and repair several more cracks in their driveway. I used a commercial grade product which only comes in colors gray ,tan or black self leveling rubber urethane (sanded). This product is paintable. He mentioned earlier that another company would come out ( the company who put the driveway in) and to paint it. As far as my understanding, they where going to have this company come out and paint the driveway with a red sealer, something that is done periodically to keep up with the maintenance of the driveway. Therefore I feel as the work that I did was satisfactory seeing that the job is was not yet fully completed. I had wish she would have called me regarding her complaint , I would be more than glad to have worked with her to explain to her the situation. As she had stated, my reviews have been very good, I take pride in my work and always aim to do the best job with the very best products to satisfy all my customers."

I like him very much. He does very good work, and he is very reasonable. He is a pleasure to deal with. He did his job well. He came out and gave me an estimate the same day that I called him, and he did the work very promptly. He quoted me $400. It was a small job, and it was hard to get somebody to do a small job with cement.
