I brought the shoes in on Monday, was quoted a price, and was told they would be done at 3pm on Thursday.  I came back after 3pm on Thursday and they were done.  The quality of the repair looks great.

Excellent work quality! Took a long time, but they clearly had a lot of business. Both repairs cost more than the actual price I paid for the boots/shoes; however, I had gotten great deals on both so I could justify spending a bit more money for quality repairs.

Very well. The shoes look like new. It's worth investing in a $300+ pair of shoes and the owner is Very Nice. That makes a big difference because some of the shoe repair shops are not customer friendly, in fact they can sometimes be UN friendly and I'll never go back.
I will return to this shoe repair shop because the service is friendly, the work is excellent and the price is reasonable.

The gentleman who helped me at the register who is, I believe, also the cobbler, was professional, kind and helpful. Finally and most importantly, the quality of the work was absolutely top notch.
I brought in a pair of black Chanel wedges that had suffered serious damage during the miserable winter/spring of 2014. The
leather along the bottom of the soles was swollen and discolored and a little hole in at the base of one heel made the entire task seem totally hopeless.
I had previously brought my wedges to another cobbler and been disappointed at his attempts to revive them. So, I went to
Cobblestone Quality Shoe Repair as a final effort to save them. The turnaround was 7 days; the charge was $37; and my wedges look beautiful. He bought me at least another season out of these shoes. I'm delighted with this place and will be back.

Dropped the shoes off and picked them up on the promised day. The heels look great but the stretch didn't work. When I told that to the gentleman, he said I can leave the shoes or bring them back any time, there's NO fee for re-stretch no matter when I bring them back even if it's a month from now. Wow! What a difference from the other shoe place I went!
Their shop is neat and clean and they keep shoes in boxes. Wish I found them before another place ruined my boots!
They're on the high end of prices but worth it for nice shoes.

After some very cold weather at the end of January/beginning of Feb., I decided that I wanted my Haflinger wool slippers repaired. I had two pairs for which the stitching had come loose around the sole. I took them to Cobbleston Shoe Repair at Ladue Crossing (8855 Ladue Road). The owner (cobbler) told me it was a hand job and it MIGHT take more than a week, but he would call me when they were ready. He asked for payment in advance - $25.00/pair for the repair. I paid him the $50.00 and said I was looking forward to getting them back. After a month without a call, I decided to drop in. He hadn't touched them and told me with a sharp edge to his voice that he had SAID he would call me when they were ready. I replied that winter was almost over, and I would like them soon. Fast forward to today, June 19, when I decided I would drop in and get my slippers and my money back. He again chided me but after I insisted, he handed me my slippers and the credit slip, and I left.

When I went into the store, Joe was very friendly and explained how the process worked for ordering bridal shoes. When I came back the next day to actually place the order, he was not very helpful and somewhat rude. Regardless, I ordered and paid for the shoes up front, and was told I could expect them by Friday of the same week and would need to pick them up then or wait until after the holiday weekend, because the store would be closed. Joe said he would call me when they arrived. On Friday, I had not yet heard from him, and when I called, he was extremely rude to me and insisted that he'd left a message on my voicemail. There was no record of a call or voicemail from him. I was so furious at his behavior that I asked my fiance to retrieve the shoes so that I wouldn't have to see him. He said Joe was rude to him, as well. I was supposed to take my shoes back to be dyed, however, I have chosen another vendor. I will not use Cobblestone again.

I have never had such a bad experience with anyone in the 16 years I have been in St. Louis. Joe was extremely rude, insisted to the point of badgering me that it was my fault that he installed the wrong clip, sarcastically quipped that it was too bad that I did not like the result since the part I paid for in January had come in (this is now March) and his offer to redo the repair was so nasty that I feared leaving it there. The bag, which has never been used, has stains from what looks like soda splattered on it and many scratches in the soft nappa leather. I will have to clean it before I can even use it for the first time. It cost me $16 to have the lining repaired from the terrible sewing job. To top it off, he kept the clip that I paid for! I would never use this merchant again, and urge anyone considering using this shop to reconsider and choose another merchant. Caveat emptor!

Great work, shoes came back looking nearly new. Very friendly and efficient. They really know shoes.
