Paul showed up the same day I called and referred me to a great drain guy. Follow up with prompt when I called to have the downspout repaired and gutter guards installed.

I worked hard to organize the painting and gutter work to happen at the same time. They came out prior to our paint job and removed our gutters. He said he'd be back the following Monday to install the gutters but the painters had not finished yet so we rescheduled for Tuesday. He came out that day and installed the new gutters. Everything worked out great and the work was done as I wanted it to be done. He was pushy to have me install our gutters and I was leery to hire him at first. I'm glad I hired them now and he was exactly right with what he said about their work, I'm very pleased and would hire them again.

All of my interactions with Paul were great. He came out (in the snow) to provide an estimate the day that I called. The estimate was reasonable compared to others that I received. He was very friendly and happy to answer all of my questions. On the day of the installation, he and another man arrived to do the job. He took the time to show me what they were doing and explain how it was done. They arrived promptly, were tidy, did the work that we discussed, and charged me the agreed upon amount. I would highly recommend Clayton Heights Home Exteriors.

He was to clean and screen all the gutters and suggested changing the front strip (6') with a larger piece of gutter.  He was also going to fix the little corner gutter as it was damaged from ice.
He was going to call when he started and when he finished and was to come out Thursday.  He did not come out nor did he call.
He did come on Friday but no call before or after.  I did see him on Saturday when he came to be paid and we talked about the job.
Next time I would ask for a real contract up front instead of writing it on his card.  It worked out in the end but I was not comfortable about it in the beginning.

Everything worked great.  Paul came when he said he would.  His workers were courteous and quick.  The gutter was not draining because the  previous installer had not installed them with the proper degree of slope.  They now work great AND I don't have to pay to have the gutters cleaned this fall!
I am not sure on the exact cost since the work was done 6 months ago.

Paul came out and gave me an estimate within a couple of days. My son and I had a great chat with him and I hired him a couple of days later. They were able to do the work about 10 days later. Went smoothly and looks great.

Paul (and his associate Wally) did a great job. He started very soon after we agreed on the work. The job took three work days. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. The original bid included adding a downspout. When that turned out to be unnecessary, the cost was deducted from the bid amount.
I would definitely use him again.

Had a very positive experience with Paul and his crew. I explained that my gutters were old, decrepit, and that a squirrel was using the old gutters to try to get into my attic. Paul came out the same day that I called and was very prompt about installing the gutters. Very professional all around.

Paul and his guys removed an old flat roof above an entry porch (approximately 15' by 15'). They then built
an inclined roof structure from scratch and shingled it. In addition, they added guttering with gutter guards and a downspout.
The shingles were matched to the garage at my request and the trim painted black to match other features of the house.
Everything was done very professionally and efficiently. I probably could have gone with a cheaper alternative but
I doubt I would have then gotten work of this quality.

He completed it last week. A lot of things were left that are going to be cleaned up. The downspouts are not vertical. He threw a temper tantrum when I pointed this out to him. He told me I had my pipes in the wrong place because gutters are supposed to go so far from the edge of the building. The pipes in the ground and he is punching holes in the gutter and there is supposed to be a vertical line between the two. He failed to achieve that. He had to add some clips and they are the wrong color. He did not have the right boots that convert from the square downspout to the round pipe so he put black ones in temporarily. He replaced them. He did not trim the pipe to the right height. In all cases, he did not do any trimming. He berated my contractor. I am going to send him a letter indicating that his work is incomplete and incorrect. One gutter was hung on by a few pop rivets and it fell off and we put it up. We put tape on it. His temporary gutter was wholely inadequate. It fell down and dented up a downspout. The man had a temper that was absolutely vile. My experience with him was wholely unsatisfactory. He talked a good job. His price compared to others was reasonable but he did not measure accurately. In our case, all downspouts go into a drain system and exit into the street. That piece of pipe is in the ground and it is not going to move. Everything you do above it is reference to that so any error that causes the downspout not to be vertical is the guy who is putting the downspout in. He missed numerous times but I think his attitude is worse than his craftsmanship and his craftsmanship is nothing to brag about. He addressed me profanely. My builder said that he was nice to me compared to the way he was with him. He left the job without telling anyone he was finished. He just bailed. Some gutter brackets are the wrong color and I believe he has absolutely no intention of making it right. I would recommend anyone to avoid him at any costs. Actually, his quoted price was reasonable that is why I selected him. He sounded good. He sounded like he knew what he was doing. The guys who were working for him seemed like pretty decent people. He had good stuff. He was accommodating. He had a good selection of colors but I would not want him anywhere near the property. The man was out of control. Paul displayed some of the most vile temperament and behavior that I have experienced in a long time.

I was completely satisfied with the work done by Paul and his company. They were professional, timely, and did quality work.  I called Paul on Monday afternoon after seeing all of the glowing reviews of his work, and he came to my house the next morning to give me an estimate. They completed the work on Friday, and I couldn't be happier with the result. My gutters are prepared for the Fall, and the water damage is gone. I definitely recommend Clayton Heights Exteriors - Paul is a nice guy who genuinely wants to complete the project to your satisfaction.

Our experience with Paul Steinbrook (Clayton Heights Home Exteriors) was very pleasant.  He was prompt with his bid, answered all our questions and made valuable suggestions.  His bid was mid-range but included extras.  Everything was done on time, all in one day, cleanup and followup were excellent and the job looks great.  And with all this rain it has made a huge difference.  This company has our highest recommendation.

We were very happy with the work that was done on our home installing 3 new down spouts.  We used Paul Steinbrook with Clayton Heights Home Exteriors.  Unlike others that we called, he called very quickly as I had left a message regarding our interest in obtaining a bid for the down spouts on our home.  He came to our home the next day and gave us a written estimate that seemed to be reasonable.  After a week of not getting answers from two other companies, we called Paul who promptly set up a date to perform the work.  He arrived on the scheduled date, performed the work very efficiently and clean-up the residue from the old down spouts.  My wife and I were very pleased with the work and with his professionalism.

Started work within a week or two of contract acceptance.  Company did not require deposit of any kind.  They did a good job.  After the work was completed and company was paid, I called about an issue with gutter design, which admittedly I should have brought up upon completion.   Paul refused to discuss corrections, giving a poor reason why he designed the guttering that way. Also, when my insurance people called him to obtain more information about the repairs, he hung up on them.  So, he wouldn't work with me after the job was done and wouldn't work with my insurance company.

The response was phenomenal. The technician was here within an hour and I learned he had been at home celebratig Memorial Day with his family. The repair was completed within an hour. He was courteous and professional. This experience was phenomenal. It particularly met my needs as I have Multiple Sclerosis and the heat makes my symptoms much worse. I will call Alro for all my heating and air conditioning services in the future

I called and they came out the same day to look at the damage and give me an estimate.  They were on time with both the evaluation and the installation.  I called back the next day with a question and they did not do the services I was looking for but referred me to someone that would.  I feel like I have someone that I can rely upon for these services going forward for this house and some rental properties.  I wish Ihad met them earlier.

I was extremely pleased with the work done by Paul Steinbrook who has the Clayton Heights Home Exterior company and would highly recommend him. I called this company based on the good grades from Angie's List. Paul called me immediately after I left a message, on a Saturday morning and came by later that day. He carefully went over the entire job, made some suggestions, was very detailed in terms of repairs and options. He recommended several changes from the original location of the downspouts to avoid water problems and improve the appearance of the house. He was polite and clear. He told me who the other workers in his crew were and what his insurance was. We sat down and he gave me a quote. I was fairly certain that i wanted this company to do the work. After reviewing the work and speaking with another contractor, i called him 2 days later to confirm the work and meet to sign a contract. We met the following Saturday and signed a contract. He supplied me with a copy of his insurance and we went over some details, adding a small repair to the trim and paint. I thought that the total price was very reasonable. After signing the contract, Paul called me about an hour later to suggest painting the entire side of the house to match the trim for another $200 or so. He told me that it would be about 1-2 weeks until they got to the work. Indeed, about a week later, he called and asked if he could start the job. I was not home when the work was done but in the evening after the work was started i looked over the job; the work site was spotless, patio furniture moved away from the site and his ladders neatly stacked on the side of the yard. The next day, the crew finished the work. Again the site was spotless, the furniture moved back. The work looks great. The downspouts and siding were installed carefully. It looks much better than the originally placed downspouts. We had a rainy night and the new gutters seemed to work great.
