They were clean and professional. There was no mess at all.

Perfect. The vendor came to measure how much to trim and to remove the mirrors. They took the mirrors to their shop because the trimming could not be done in the field. The mirrors were returned and reinstalled. They met my expectations.

When the replacement came in, we received a call and brought the window back to the shop. He took the framing apart and replaced the glass. Then helped me load the window back in the car.
Nothing complicated, but I had no problems.

Fast, efficient, and friendly service. Not a complicated job, but they did it well and took it seriously.

I called Chippewa Glass along with several other providers. I had used Chippewa Glass a few years ago to replace a glass top for a coffee table [$85] and was pleased with their work but wanted other options. Chippewa Glass was the least expensive and was up to the challenge of replacing very old doors. I was given a quote over the phone. When I took the doors in on a Friday; I was told they would be ready Monday or Tuesday of the next week. The person handling the transaction that day, saw no problem in using the same runners. He was a gruff, no-nonsense person who was quite knowledgable. He answered questions succintly. I was contacted by phone when the doors were finished [Tuesday]. They looked great; were packaged appropriately and ready to go when I arrived.

We got estimates from 5 glass companies and Chippewa's bid for the work was by far the least expensive. We decided to use Chippewa to complete the work because I had a great expereince with them approx. 25 years ago, otherwise we might have been concerned about going with the least expensive bid. The glass was cut and installed in the doors in a very timely fashion. Chippewa glass put a silicone seal around the glass at no additional charge. Other companies charged additional for this service and some of them did not seal the glass all the way around the glass panel. We delivered the doors to the store on a Thursday and picked them up the following Monday. Chippewa was very accommodating to our short time frame so that we would have the doors available to our contractor for installation on Monday.

They are helpful knowledgeable and professional. This was a great experience, I have sued them for years and will continue to do so.

I had inherited crystal goblets from my mother and three of them had sharp chips in the rims that could cut someone if used. I was not able to replace them as the pattern had been long discontinued. Chippewa Glass was able to grind out the chips and now the glasses look perfect. They advised me that the process could break the glasses before I made the decision to have the work done and did a great job. My only complaint was that they quoted me three weeks, and I had to call them after four weeks to find out when they would be ready. After showing up the day they said the glasses were ready, they weren't and I got a bunch of excuses about scheduling. They were finally ready the second time I went back. Overall, I was happy with the end result.

Work was complete as promised.
