Several MAJOR problems were not spotted in the inspection. There was an electrical panel that wasn't grounded and as a result I was shocked, and it wasn't found in the inspection. There was also a defective furnace that wasn't found in the inspection.

Mr. Buck was on time, personable, and friendly. The inspection took about two hours and seemed to be thorough enough, from a lay point of view. However, he missed some significant defects. The most important of these is that an entire electrical circuit covering the kitchen, laundry room, and garage, had no ground. My wife got quite a jolt while cleaning the stove, and if someone had happened to be barefoot on a wet garage floor and touched the light switch, it might have been fatal. Other problems he didn't find: Leaky hose spigot; broken/nonfunctional lock on an exterior door; cracked basement window; leaky bathroom sink; and, a hole in a wall. I contacted Mr. Buck concerning these matters and have yet to have a reply.
