This job was a total disaster. While working on my roof, it started raining. They did not put a tarp over my skylight. The rain poured in damaging the ceiling/walls of the room involved. After the job was finished, I noticed rain damage on the bedroom ceiling where the chimney was located. The men did not put any kind of sealer between the shingles and the chimney. The following year, I sold this house. I was informed by the new owner that they roof was leaking where the garage met the wall of the house. When the workers there there, the men replaced plywood on the gar garage roof as it had rotted. The new owner had to have this wood torn out and totally redone by another company. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Apparently some crews are better than others. My crew was totally unskilled. I did have a "quality Inspection" done at the end of the job, before the leak by the chimney and the leak where the garage connected to the house. Also the gutter on the front of the house had to be replaced because of the way the workers placed their ladder on the gutter and depressed/dented the gutter where the ladder was placed.

I had a few companies come out to look at the damage, but they weren't very trust worthy. A friend referred me to her contractor that her roof, Bolt construction, so I called them. They came out offered to walk me through filing a claim, which I had never done before. Once the claim was filed, they came out to meet the adjuster and got the roof and gutters replaced for my home. I didn't have to be home during this process, the salesman called me afterwards to let me know the outcome. From there, I was notified when my roofing materials would arrive, and when they would be installing the roof. It was a lot less stressful than I thought it would be. The roof was completed while I was at work and it looks great!

Caleb made excellent suggestions on the new roof for my house. The work was completed in 1 day with no problems at all and no additional costs. Bolt construction was very good to work with and I would use them again.

I liked their vehicle had the company name on it. The lady that came out was professionally dressed and had a uniform on so it was easy to identify them. She was on time, friendly, and while she was on the roof she took pictures so she could show me the problem areas.

The Bolt team was great from start to finish. This was the second time I used them. They also did my siding, gutters and soffits.
The guys were early to the job and stayed until it was finished. They cleaned up so that my yard looked better than when they started.
They are polite and helpful.
The price was fair and the work was done to perfection.
I have to tell you that as a recent Widow I had several companies try to take advantage of the situation.
Starting with the siding, Jon came and gave me the bid and I felt like I got the most for my money.
The same with the roof.
Most bids were considerably higher than Bolt and what they had to offer was far less.
I recommend Jon and the Bolt team to everyone.

Up until the end, there was one thing that they didn't have the roofer do. It rained and then it bent up top and nobody would answer my call or return my call. Other than that, they were great. I had somebody else out and I had to pay him to do it. It kept leaking and he came back a couple of weeks later. After about a month and a half, I got the hole fixed. The roofers were supposed to do it but they didn't. The guy who sold me the stuff wouldn't return my calls after a couple of months. Other than that, they were fast. The rest of the job went fast. It was just the nonresponsiveness that made me mad. What they did do with the roof was a beautiful job.

It was great. They were very good. They did what they said they would do and they followed through. What made them so good was their friendliness. You can call them anytime and ask them anything. The price is reasonable.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. They did very well. I bought the Big Deal in January, but due to the weather I didn't get it done until February. The best thing about them was the price. That was what made it attractive. They did go out and evaluate what they felt was wrong and as soon as the weather permitted, they went right out and repaired it. They were very good. There were no extra charges.

I called for service and spoke to Aaron. He was very professioanl and helpful. He said he would send someone out in a week to do the replacement. Doug came out as promised and completed the work. They had previously replaced my roof in 2013.

All aspects of this project went well from Bolt's perspective, Melanie and Taylor, customer service representatives, did a great job of staying on top of what needed to be accomplished and when. The only hitch was from my insurance company who issued a 3 party check including myself, my wife, and the mortgage company. This caused a 5 week delay in starting, to allow time for an insurance check to clear all hurdles. Bolt was very patient and supportive during this delay and started the project as soon as funds were available, within a couple of days. The roofing crew even worked late, until dark about 9:00 pm, to finish the roof in one day. On that day, the temp. was in the mid 90's and the crew hung in there to get it done. This crew also did a great job of cleaning up the site the next morning, by 10:00 am. The other crews, involved with the misc. repairs, also did a great job in a timely manner. The follow up paper work, warranty and completion report, was taken care of within a week of completing the project. Great Job and I highly recommend these guys.

I had a leaking screened in porch and when contacting the big roofers, i.e., Frederick, Olnea, etc. it was apparent they were not interested in small jobs. Heard of Bolt through a Chris Duncan spot on ESPN radio and gave them a call. They fixed the roof in one day and kept the price as quoted. Great experience!

Alex Keaton and Josh Kemp were great to work with it. They were on time and very professional to deal with. They gave me the date for the work. It was on time and with temperature in high 90's - 100 the work was done as promised. The cleanup left the property neat and orderly.
