BOARDWALK HARDWOOD FLOORS

They delivered the wood and we paid an installer to install it. It looks beautiful, but some pieces have started to split on the top. Not sure if it is the installer's fault or Boardwalk's. Also he wouldn't give me a refund on unopened nail boxes saying he had made a mistake on the figures. It was confusing, so I let it go. Overall good experience though.

What we did was went in there and looked around and I thought they were very good. When we were at the store, I thought they were very good. They explained things to us about the floor and everything: what it was made out of.

l like their knowledgebase. They answer all my questions and they stay late. If I have a question and even if they are closed, they make every effort to answer my question and get my problem solved. Their price range is very, very reasonable.

Our contractor provided a recommendation of flooring retailers for us to pick out flooring for an upcoming remodel on our kitchen/dinning room. After checking out different stores we were not all that impressed either with the product selection, or the sales staff. I did an independent search of local flooring suppliers and found Boardwalk Hardwood flooring. We decided to check them out and are glad that we did. They have a large diverse product selection and their staff is very knowledgeable about the products, and necessary installation. Overall a good experience and well worth a visit if you are considering a flooring purchase.

They were easy to reach and showed up on time to do the job. They didn't install, just brought the floors to my home.

Prior to the purchase of the wood and fireplace tiles, Amanda Rieffer, possessing an encyclopedic knowledge of flooring materials, spent much time on a number of occasions to help us understand the products we were interested in and the way in which they would (or would not) meet our needs. We were able to check out large sections of different types of flooring and take them home for a week, allowing us to experience each one in different settings in our home . . . and at different times. There was absolutely no pressure applied at any time to force a rush to judgment on our part. We were provided a list of installers that were recommended by Boardwalk. We chose Kevin and Patrick of K and P Custom Flooring. Their work was superb. They arrived on time and worked throughout the day with only a brief break for lunch. They always provided information that helped us understand the process. There was no challenge provided by our space that they were unable to address to our complete satisfaction. And it should be said that both were very nice: they were two individuals around whom you were always comfortable, and you knew you could ask them any question at any time. From beginning to end, we feel very fortunate to have made the choices we did.
