Auto Evaluators

I took my car to the dealer to find out that I was one of the lucky ones that had an issue with my Hybrid Battery on my Camry. After being told that a new Hybrid battery was going to cost $4,000, I ventured to find out if there was anything else I could do to fix my car. I searched online and found companies outside of St. Louis that sell rebuilt batteries for 1700, or a new battery for 2500. I then found Mark and Auto Evaluators. I called and asked him a ton of questions, Mark at Auto Evaluators did an excellent job of telling me everything he knows about the Hybrid batteries in the Toyota Vehicles. He's a pro when it comes to this stuff, he found that one of the cells in my Hybrid battery was bad, and that I had corrosion on the brass strips that connect the battery terminals. He then cleaned the brass strips and connectors, replaced my bad cell, and reconditioned my battery. Mark called me each day as it was a 3 day job to keep me updated. I love these guys. I was sporting a really old Volvo and went to them for a couple of years. They fixed everything as cheaply as possible - fixing only what really needed to be fixed - called me before doing any repairs and are just real stand up guys.
They also sell used cars that have their shop's guarantee.
This is a family run business and they treat their customers like family. I bought a new car and now I actually miss them. I mean they truly treat their customers like family. When I was shopping for a car, I could call in and say, and quot;Ray, what do you think of this deal?and quot; And they would give me sage advice. I am not kidding. I would say, and quot;Ray, I am at this dealership and the guy is saying this..and quot; (I am a student and had never bought a car before on my own). Ray would tell me what to do about that deal, etc. I mean I just owe so much to these guys. They will also take you anywhere you want to go (within reason) while your car is being worked on. I have referred many friends there. They even give you a discount on your birthday or for referrals and send you handwritten thank you letters for using their business.
I like my new car, but I miss these guys. They are honest, friendly, and just a real stand up shop. You can't get any better. If someone offered me free auto mechanic services, I would go to these guys first and pay them rather than go to the free auto mechanic. You just can't go wrong.

Too expensive and oversold us on services.

Auto Evaluators are exceptional! Due to our opposing work schedules we could not pick up the car during open hours so one of the people in the office brought my key TO MY HOUSE which is not far from her house! They go the extra mile and help you out. Everyone is friendly and they have been totally honest about what needs to be done. They also evaluated my volvo prior to purchase :)

We had once gone to them with a damaged tire, and I believe we bought two new tires from them. They are absolutely perfect in evaluating issues, and very good at taking the customer through their shop and explaining things. The women at the front desk are just as knowledgeable as the men are about the interiors of cars, and that is impressive. They even show us the parts and everything. Auto Evaluators Inc. does an excellent job.

Auto Evaluators did an excellent job diagnosing and repairing my transmission. I brought the car in to another transmission "specialist" and the estimate was $600 just to open up the transmission and diagnose the problem. Auto Evaluators has the proper diagnostic equipment for Volvo/Subaru and are experts on these makes. I would recommend Auto Evaluators for your Volvo/Subaru and they also perform general repairs on other vehicle makes. I have always dealt with and would recommend Paul.

I WOULD NOT TAKE MY VOLVO ANYWHERE ELSE. EVERYONE I HAVE WORKED WITH IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND UP FRONT. I DON'T FEEL LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO TALK ME INTO THINGS. I AM ALWAYS GIVEN OPTIONS FOR SERVICE AND EXCELLENT ADVICE.
