I have worked with Arch Moving 2 times in the past, and so when I hired them again I had expected similar service. Unfortunately, under new management I did not experience a level of customer service I would expect. They increased their fees (first for the truck there is now a $75 fee), and the moving rates for a two man team were 160/hour. I could have swallowed that if they had sent an experienced two man crew, but one of the movers was a young person who clearly had little to no experience and could barely manage the heavier items. At these rates that was hard to understand. They then broke a small glass window, and I was told by the mover it would be covered. When I spoke with the claims department they told me it is not covered per the Missouri Dept of Transport, meaning they don't legally have to cover the damage so they won't. This is not the customer service I would expect at these prices. I would not recommend, and I will never use them again.

Beware: Nightmare Moving Experience with Arch Moving Our move with Arch Moving turned into a harrowing ordeal that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. From the onset, it was clear that things were headed in the wrong direction. We had a tight schedule, needing to vacate our previous house on the same day we closed on our new one. However, the estimate provided was significantly lower than the actual requirements, and the absence of an in-person evaluation for truck needs led to disastrous consequences. What should have been a two-day move turned into a four-day saga due to constant back-and-forth trips caused by inadequate truck capacity. While I appreciate hard work, the tipping process became uncomfortable. We ended up shelling out an exorbitant $600 in tips alone throughout the move, only to discover that the crew lead, Marcel, pocketed a substantial tip meant for the team without sharing. The problems extended far beyond monetary issues. Numerous items were mishandled or damaged, including a Sony 76” television, broken coffee table, scratched hardwood floors, and the ultimate horror of the gate being left open, allowing our dogs to escape. The ensuing two-hour search in the neighborhood was distressing. Punctuality was a consistent issue; their late arrivals, were further compounded by the crew's fatigue and unpreparedness. They frequently forgot essential packing materials, resorting to haphazard methods like tearing tape with their teeth. One instance even required me to purchase my own boxes and packing paper, essentially taking on the role of a mover myself. The climax of this chaotic experience unfolded on the last day. The delayed arrival of the truck left us in a frantic rush, resulting in me physically assisting in the loading process and hastily cramming belongings into my own vehicle. Eventually, we had to call in additional help from I-800-Junk due to time constraints, forcing us to abandon sentimental items and quality furniture. Additionally, the lack of professionalism extended to conflicts between the Arch Moving crew and the 1-800 Junk team. I found myself unexpectedly mediating as tensions rose due to the Arch Moving crew using tools without permission, sparking unnecessary friction. During the chaos of the move, our efforts to communicate with Arch Moving were met with consistent silence. Despite numerous attempts through calls, messages, and attempts to escalate concerns to management, there was no response until the time came to sign the invoice post-move. Their disregard for our valid grievances highlighted their irresponsibility and added immense frustration to an already tumultuous experience. The stress and chaos caused by Arch Moving's incompetence lingered long after the move and even led to physical issues that required urgent medical attention. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice, as the repercussions of this ordeal have been profound and distressing. This move wasn’t just an inconvenience; it was a nightmare that affected us deeply and continues to do so. Please, for your peace of mind, consider alternatives to spare yourself from a similar ordeal.

I hired Arch moving for professional packing April 29th. I further contracted them and moved me April 30th. I was told in person that a man and women would show up to pack me, nope it was the movers. The movers thought they were being helpful but I found bleach, open toilet bowl cleaner and insecticide packed with my food. I also found portables or onions packed with appliances plus breakable barely wrapped if even wrapped. One of the movers also grabbed my butt under the guys of giving me a hug when I was having a panic attacked during the packing. I called the company no one answered or called back. I reached out after the move to in detail express every point in which my move was not professional. I have since been informed that the mover denies touching me and they never had an accusation like this before and that the mover thought they were helping me even though the company acknowledges many mistakes were made. It's only worth offering me of 10% refund of $127. I don't have a photo for a witness that a mover grabbed me it was a matter of integrity I claim it he denies it.

We only needed them to load a trailer from an apartment, and it went flawlessly. They packed the trailer extremely well and nothing had shifted when we reached our destination

If you are looking for an economical moving company, this is a good option. The movers got all our stuff from Point A to Point B, it was not expensive, and they were available when we needed them. However, they charged a special rate for moving a piano and did not move it properly, leading to substantial damage. The worker who damaged the piano admitted he had never moved a piano before and did not really know what he was doing. We had difficulty getting compensation from customer service, but in the end, they did send us a fair check to help pay for the damage. There were also a few instances of miscommunication between the movers and the original quote we had received. I would not recommend this company if you have a piano or other fragile things you are concerned about, or if you value professionalism over low-cost or convenience.

This was our first time using Arch Moving, and it's no wonder why my parents have used them for their moving needs and recommended them. It was easy to coordinate and schedule the move. We got confirmation and updates, and never had to question if they would show up on time. Our team of movers, Matt and Cole, were careful with all of our furniture. They were respectful, quick, knowledgeable, and safe. We had some really heavy furniture, but they moved it with ease and no damage to walls or floors. Best team ever! If we ever need movers again, Arch Moving is the only company we will work with.

John N and Isaiah H were awesome. Super nice, really careful and completely professional. When it was difficult to find parking at my apartment, they were flexible and found a solution that probably made things a little harder for them, but made sure I was taken care of. But what really put them over the top was how they not only powered through when it started to pour outside, but how they both protected my furniture and were always careful to not track anything into my new home the entire time. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Arch Moving was a good experience. It was easy to request a quote and we immediately received a follow up call. I liked having text alerts to keep me updated on when the movers were arriving. We had Chris M and Tyrin do our move and they were great! They were on time and handled all of our items with care. I don't think we even had one ding on our walls or doorways. We would use Arch Moving again and recommend to others.

During the move into our new home, two men from Arch Moving set one of our dressers (with legs) down off the dolly at an angle so that when they pushed the dresser upright it snapped one of the leg off. Instead of physically picking the piece of furniture up to set it upright, they tilted it; which put all the weight/pressure of the furniture on the two legs that were on the ground so that when they pushed the dresser forward- to set all 4 legs down, the leg snapped. This was not something I would have expected from movers, and a moving company, with any kind of experience!! One of the movers kept complaining that his back was hurting and you could tell he was really having a difficult time lifting the heavier pieces. So, that’s when the two men brought out the dolly - and you can see what happened. The entire move consisted of only 10 pieces of furniture. That was it, nothing else. And now one of the pieces is unusable and will cost $1730 to replace. I can’t imagine how much damage would occur during an entire house move, if the movers that came to my house were tired, sore and using sloppy technique after just 10 pieces of furniture? I’m not sure where all the 5star reviews came from but this was not my experience. On a positive note: both men were very nice and apologetic.

Charles and Rois were amazing - they helped get everything moved over to our new place quickly and safely! Both were very professional and were even able to carry a nine and a half foot couch down 11 flights of stairs. These guys are fantastic and hands down the best movers we’ve ever had!

If you are searching for a moving company, stop searching and choose Arch Moving. I made several calls before landing on Arch Moving and I am so glad that I found them! Jon G., Charles and Cole were all AMAZING. They were so friendly, professional and efficient! I am actually amazed at how quickly they moved me from a 3rd floor apartment to a second floor apartment that was basically another 3rd floor with all the steps. Even when they had to remove my door and take apart some of my furniture to fit through the narrow opening, they were still fast and friendly! Even in this terrible heat. I will most definitely choose Arch Moving for any future moving needs!

Joe, Keith and Antonio were the movers from Arch Moving. Used them yesterday for the first time for a small move from an office to two house. These guys HUSSLED and it was HOT! They were friendly, professional and even asked if there was anything they could move for me while they were there. Came in under bid. Definitely would use them again!

Unbelievable job by Antonio K, Anthony K, Imani, Quentin, and DeQuin for packing and moving. Done on two separate days. Packing was efficient and careful and we were only charged for the actual time used. Moving was somehow even better - while other movers had previously scuffed both our old home and new home, our team managed to not leave a scratch anywhere, even with heavy and bulky items. The items were carefully loaded and unloaded with plenty of padding and protection. Furniture was disassembled and reassembled without issues. Zero breakage. Boxes were placed exactly as requested. Shoes were removed to respect the upstairs carpet. The team went above and beyond, even helping hook up appliances. I highly recommend Arch Moving and will use them again in the future.

It did not go well! They broke the base of my thousand dollar marble table and a lacquered mirror that they didn’t secure in the truck properly. I also backed in to our mailbox and smashed it. Our refund was $150 which is ridiculous. We were very disappointed in this company.

Truly incredible work! You could not find a group of movers more kind, polite, efficient, affordable, timely, and experienced than them. Tyler, Antonio, and Sid were great at moving our belongings. We have an old historical 2 story home that has a curved staircase and small awkward spaces. They did a great job navigating this difficult move. Would definitely hire them again.

We were so pleased with Arch Moving for our recent move. From the first phone call I had with the office they were incredibly helpful, pleasant and easy to communicate with. From the minute Quentin, Caterell and Demetrioask arrived they were ready to work! The briefed me on the process, we went over all the items for them to move, and they got right to it. They worked hard and were so communicative the entire day. When they arrived at our new home, they made sure to ask where we wanted items placed and went out of their way to make sure things were exactly how we wanted them before they left. I’d recommend Arch moving and this crew to anyone looking for a trustworthy moving company!
