The Board of Equalization readily accepted his appraisal and comparison properties. My teleconference with the BOE took 9 minutes and they reduced the amount of my increase by 54%. Good price. The appraiser came out the next day and I had the appraisal two days later. Found 3 comps that were in the neighborhood and had similar sale prices. Recommend highly. This gave me a fair value that once I set my listing price to close to it got much more attention in the market for my property. Agents don't always give a good estimate of what your home is worth. Get an appraisal as a second opinion.
