She was very accommodating and professional. Alterations were perfect length and very well finished. I will use her again!

I called on a Friday evening a week before prom and she was great! I didn't need to make an appointment. Saturday hours are from 9-12. I went in about 9.30 with my daughter who tried her dress on with shoes and the whole fitting took about 10 minutes. It cost only $20!!! I was expecting much more than that. The seamstress was fantastic, friendly, did a great job. I will definitely be using them again! This is not a fancy place or location but the work was done very well.

The owner was very nice and did the work for a reasonable cost. The coat looks like new!

My new coat arrived with sleeves that were too long and the lining hanging out of one.  Although I sew, I was chicken to cut the lining on my new wool coat, and uncertain how to finish the lining and wool edges to give them a tailored look.  I worried she might just turn sleeves under and hem.  That I could have done. What she did was far superior, and I was delighted with the workmanship, totally worthy of a Pendleton coat.  The only drawback was that the coat was not ready when she originally said.  I had told her no rush, but next time I will call before I go.

I called her this morning, telling her that I had ordered a dress that had come in yesterday, and I needed it hemmed before a wedding I was going to tomorrow.  She took my request despite the fact that she normally closes at 1pm.  I brought it to her at Noon and she had me pick it up at 2pm.  She was also very nice and patient with me, despite the fact that I came in last minute.  I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dahlia was wonderful to work with. The alterations required her to purchase some fabric.....the two different pieces of material she found were an excellent match to my articles of clothing! She even asked me to stop in after her purchase to be sure I was happy with what she found. This was definitely a great experience!

The job was complicated by the presence of a removable inner liner jacket. I was very happy with the result.

It was finished as promised and looks great.

Dahlia is wonderful and we refer a lot of people to her. We send her purses, jackets, and zippers; she will even get in her car and come to you if that is what the job requires. She has very reasonable prices as well.

Service was prompt at one week. Dress fit great after the alterations were completed. My one complaint was the cost. I thought 30 dollars was too high...but I do not have a sewing machine and I think the alterations might not work well if they had been sewn by hand.

Dahlia knew exactly what replacement zipper to order. You'd never know the jacket had a new zipper. It was perfect. When there was a delay from the zipper supplier, she let us know. Excellent service. We intend to take all our sewing problems to Alternations U City.

I found them on Angie's List. I thought that it was extremely high quality service. They were pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable about what they were doing, very informative about what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They were very clear on costs and pricing. They delivered on time. I think their pricing was reasonable for what they did. I was just extremely impressed with them. I would highly recommend them.

Overall she did a great job and was very pleasant to work with and accomodating.  It took a few fittings to get there but the final product was good.  I had one snap to hold my bra strap under the dress break the day of the wedding.  I thought the price was a bit higher than what I expected but overall I was satisfied.

The lady was very nice and did a great job. Even turned it around in about 3 days. I thought the price was a little high, but considering the quality, timeliness and ease of the process, it was totally worth it.

I found Alterations U City on Angie's List and was impressed with the reviews. They do not steer you wrong. The seamstress was friendly, professional, courteous, and most important, did high quality (and very prompt) work. I had already had my wedding dress (which was off the rack) altered at another place, and they did less than adequate work. In fact, the seamstress there told me that she could not take in the dress at the waist any more because of the layer of lace on top of the layer of satin; she warned me that it would pull and wrinkle if I got it altered. I brought the dress to Alterations U City, and the seamstress fixed it with no problem whatsoever (for $40, less than the other place charged to do a bad job). She pinned me in the dress so I could see how it would turn out, and it looked exactly as it had with pins. She also suggested replacing the zipper because I complained about how the zipper pooched out (for $45). It now looks much, much better. Then I took her four panels of chenille curtains and shortened them according to my specifications ($20/pc.). They look lovely; you certainly can't tell they were altered at all, except for the length.
