My window of time was 10 am-2 pm. The technician arrived around 4 pm. The office said it was their problem, not the techs. After completing the work, the technician said my total was $160. When I called to inquire about pricing, I was told the sprinkler start up was $ 80 for the first hour. The sprinkler start up didn't take an hour, so I asked what the additional charge was for. I was told it was an additional $80 for the backflow test. This amount was never mentioned when I called the office. Once the sprinklers were running, we noticed that they were not getting all areas of the yard correctly. Allen Outdoor Solutions did come back to correct this issue. Due to the fact that they were two hours late and charged me double the amount I was told, I would not use this company again

Amendment to earlier review on 4/20 ---- The owner called me to address the issue. At the end of the day, he did two things that are right by me: (a) He fixed the billing issues where I was being double billed for two visits for the same job and (b) he listened to my concerns without making excuses. I'm not trying to get some sort of free service or a discount akin to negotiating with a cable tv provider. So, I will continue to give Allen Outdoor my business because I know that the owner actually cares about making sure I'm happy with the services.

Allen Outdoor Solutions did a great job - easy to work with - true professionals.

They recently had to repair some damage from a landscaper for severed electric and water lines which they successfully performed quickly and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend and I will continue to use their services.

They had a good response time. They were always out quickly, provided a bid quickly, and it seemed reasonable. They always did it pretty aggressively and low, but they wanted to keep the scope on what they wanted it to be. They did not seem flexible as what I was looking for.

Technician was great. There was some confusion over the bill. I expressed my frustration and received a call from Steve Allen explaining what had happened. I appreciate Steve's commitment to running a good business but also his concern with customer satisfaction.

It was a very good experience. They were able to schedule it very quickly and they arrived on time. They were extremely pleasant throughout the whole process, and I am hiring them for another project.

Allen quoted a one week completion. ?Five weeks into the work, we hired another contractor to complete the job. ?He installed the wrong pavers and wanted $6000 to correct it. ?He put two 80 foot long ruts in our lawn. Instead of refunding a proportional amount of the deposit, he hired an attorney who offered us 6o cents on the dollar and insisted we remove our reviews. ?We were always wrong. ?Reported him to the BBB. ?They didn't like his answer and they want to litigate the case. Our opinion is that Allen is IRRITATION not IRRIGATION!? All matters referenced above have been resolved amicably between myself and Allen Outdoor solutions

Builder of my house chose Allen. The people were all very nice, both in person and on the phone. However, the quality of the work has been poor. I have needed additional repair calls literally a half-dozen times. Once I needed them back in the same day. Now, less than two years after the system was installed there is a major repair needed and they tell me it only has a one-year warranty. Last year when I needed the service turned on, it took them five weeks to get to me. Then, in the Fall when they did the turnoff, the guy was running so late that he didn't leave me the backflow testing paperwork. I got notification from the city that they never received it. I requested copies three times and they still never sent it to me.

Allen is very responsive during all phases of the work and answer several questions even after installation. I highly recommend these guys, very professional and responsive to all the questions I have.

Good job. They did not tear up our lawn.
