These guys have worked on a few items in our home (fridge & dryer). They are very good at what they do. I also called our serviceman before purchasing new appliances, and he took the time to advise & explain pros & cons of various brands & new tech on these units. Recommended!!!!

They serviced my washer and dryer. We had a real problem and they said it wouldn't be worth trying to fix so he gave us name of a couple of places we could get another unit at a good rate. They got here when they said they would and they did everything they said they would do. He was honest about not trying to stick us with a repair bill that he said would not last very long.

Service by experienced technician was fast and friendly.

They couldn't fix it, but referred me to slyman brothers. Came back again and fixed my dryer. On time and very nice.

Minor part needed and Jim (repairman) fortunately had the part and fixed it very quickly. Jim very friendly and professional.

Perfect. Dan knew immediately what was wrong once I described the make/model, etc. over the phone. He auto ordered the part;recd. part and came out in a timely fashion to install. Based on my use since his repair date, appears to be working perfectly. He assured if any issues to call back. He, while a young man, was professional, personable, thorough, knowledgeable, along with no dawdling-no wasting of time. It was a welcome change from the warranty personnel that covered this washing machine upon purchase and now out of warranty. I will certainly call this company for any and all repairs needed on any of my appliances they service. As well, I'm passing the word on to others.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! 
I called them for help with a Maytag washer that was about 1 1/2 years old.  The door locking mechanism was acting up.  The tech was originally here about two weeks ago and basically took apart the washer but could not find anything wrong with it. So he put it back to together and it seemed to be working.  I was charged a $90 service fee and told to contact them if it started acting up again and they would return and I would not have to pay another service fee.
Flash forward about two weeks and the washer is acting up again with the same issue - door locking, not unlocking, and won't go through the wash cycle. I contact Affton Mehlville Appliance Service and explained what is going on.  I was told that I needed to tell them who the tech was, otherwise they could not help me.  The woman on the phone got very ugly with me when I explained I had no idea who the tech was and asked if she could look up my name.  She continued on the attack with many excuses as to why she could not help me.  
I found the receipt from the service call and called back to provide the tech's name.  No one answered so I left a voice message.  I made repeated calls back with my call going to voice mail each time and never received a call back.
In summary, they took my $90 and ran with it without solving the problem or standing by their work.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE AND YOUR PROBLEM SOLVED!

They said that they replaced the part, but it was either the wrong part or installed incorrectly. The very first time that I had tried to use the washing machine, water started leaking all over the floor. The washing machine did fill to the correct level, but water would leak onto the floor during every wash. I called them as soon as I determined there was a problem with the repair. The technician old me that he would be out on Sunday. He called that day and said that he would be out during the day sometime. Called later that evening around 9 pm and said that he wasn't able to get out and tried to reschedule. He was supposed to call me on Monday on  11/23, but I still have not heard from him up to the date of this review 11/24.

They were so kind and helpful actually interested in saving me money! I'm so appreciative of their help! Definitely will recommend!!

Dan arrived right on time and identified a broken lead on the upper oven element.  He replaced the lead and the oven worked perfectly. He also took the time to replace the oven door cover as it had come loose on the bottom.  He was a really polite young man and was very efficient with his knowledge and neatness with his equipment.  So, so much better than Sears repair any day!  I will use them again for certain!

Very fast, professional, and affordable.  Will use the provider again and highly recommend them.

They were wonderful. They have repaired appliances 4 times in the past 2 years. Dan is great and gives the most economical and efficient solution. The last time they gaveus a loner refridgorator until ours was fixed. They give A+ customer service.

Simply put, Great.  The initial contact was great, man on the phone (sorry, I do not remember name) seemed knowledgeable and very professional, got me scheduled in a timely manner (contact was late on a friday afternoon) for the following monday.  Technician called on the way- was in and diagnosed problem quickly- and provided above service, including his cell phone if I have trouble or questions, and proposed a plan to fix the refrigerator as the freon dissipates again- quoted a ballpark.  I feel very confident that these folks can help me!!

Great experience. Professional, courteous and effective.
During the repair process, Jim discovered that one of the springs was missing in our dishwasher. He actually FOUND IT IN OUR BASEMENT! Saved us from having to buy a new spring and wait for the part to come in.
Jim got the repair done in about an hour, maybe less.
Would recommend them to anyone.
