Aegis Radon installed a radon mitigation system in a 2-story single family home. They were very professional and responsive, showed up on time and did a great job overall. Highly recommend this company!

Aegis Radon Service system was damaged during a hail storm. Mike from Aegis came out and fixed the broken parts, and informed us of the radon levels in our area.

Wonderful experience!!! We discovered high radon levels early in the year and contacted them. Mike and Rachel came out and looked at our situation and discussed options for mitigation. They even suggested that we take some reading levels in the summertime if we liked, before having them out to do the mitigation. The levels stayed high so we had them out in December to do the work. The team arrived on time, did their work and cleaned up. All the work looks professionally done and neat and orderly. The first attempt did not reduce the radon due to some issues with our basement floor. They came out again and installed a larger motor. That still did not reduce it enough, so they came back again to install an additional pipe into the basement floor and connect it to the previously installed pipe. Our radon level is now significantly reduced to proper levels. At all times, they were polite, professional, and shared a wealth of knowledge about radon. At each step of the process, their only concern was reducing the radon. The cost did not change from the original price, even with the additional work necessary. I wish all companies shared the same values and customer service ethics. I am a totally satisfied customer and wish I could hire them to do other work as well. :)

They quickly found the best possible option for our mitigation system, ran their tests and did their install in the most professional manner I have experienced in quite some time. All my questions were answered, and clear explanations were presented to me. I would highly recommend Aegis they are hands down a wonderful company to work with, and I recommend them as much as I can.

I searched Angie's list to find a company that would install a radon mitigation system. Aegis had excellent ratings so I called them. I scheduled the installation and allowed them full access to my house without my being present. Mike arrived on time and completed the job on time. Mike explained radon, how the system worked, and how he would install one in my house. He also addressed and sealed a small crawl space in my house so the radon would also be mitigated in that area. Everything went as planned. This was an excellent experience. If I had the need, I would again use his services and would recommend them..

I love this company! Hands down the best experience I've had with any company related to anything dealing with my home. They are prompt, know their stuff, are friendly and easy to work with, and do professional, clean work. They finished ahead of their estimated time, and volunteered to do other, minor work around the house that were on my to-do list but I hadn't gotten around to. I would recommend working with Mike and Rachel to anybody, and look forward to working with them in the future as my system needs (minimal) maintenance.

Mike came along one morning and evaluated the situation, I already had readings from my own test kits (safety siren radon detector - very helpful). He straight away knew who designed my house and what the best way to proceed was, a price was agreed and a date set up. Very neat work, very professional, well priced and very prompt. I would recommend Mike and his team to anyone.

It went great. When I found out that my house had an elevated radon level I researched the subject thoroughly before choosing a company to perform the work. Mike Goodson and Aegis are certified for radon testing and mitigation by Missouri and the National Environmental Health Association. They had to route the system from under the the basement floor, up through the garage floor, into an upstairs bedroom closet, into the attic and out the roof, going through concrete, drywall, carpet and roof shingles. I was very apprehensive about this, but they did a beautiful, professional job. Cleaned up and put everything back in place. A radon test performed after completion indicates the level to be well below the recommended level by the EPA. You couldn't do better than Mike and Aegis if you have to have this done.

While selling my house, an inspection determined I had high radon levels in my basement (10 pCi/L). Aegis installed a radon mitigation system and guaranteed it would reduce the radon to below 2 pCi/L (this is the EPA threshold where mitigation should be considered). This performance is well below the 4 pCi/L level where the EPA says mitigation is required. All their employees are National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) certified. All were very professional, experienced, polite, prompt and eager to answer all questions. They also thoroughly understood the science of what they were doing. The system installation looked great and they cleaned up all debris. It took about 4 hours to install the system and 3 days to measure/confirm they achieved their guaranteed radon level. They had to move the suction point after the initial installation, as the radon level was significantly reduced but not to their warranty level. They rapidly diagnosed the problem (suction was limited due to unknown concrete overpour under the basement floor), modified the installation and re-measured radon levels without any additional cost (per their warranty). They then successfully reduced the radon level to 1.0 pCi/L. I highly recommend employing them.

We tested for radon and we found out we had high levels. Aegis was recommended to us by the testing company along with others. We found Aegis on Angie's list. They came out and gave us a bid and we accepted their bid. When they came to install it, they were very professional and answered all our questions. Were very neat. Put down plastic on the floors so not to track in dirt. Clean up after themselves and was sure we were satisfied. Will do a follow in a few weeks.

We were NOT familiar with radon or how to remove it. Aegis Radon Service was highly recommended to us, so I called. Easy to make an appointment, showed up on time, presented options. Were open to our preferences and ideas. Very professional, polite. Great warranty. No-maintenance on the system-ever! Very quiet blower motor. We would never know it's there. Price includes re-checking radon levels after the system is installed. No scare tactics (unlike a competitor). Just the facts. This was THE most hassle-free service or repair we've ever had on any home we've owned. No fuss. On time. Respectful. Wow!!
