They used my supplies and found them not up to their standards. They are advising me on what to have on hand in the future. They were so nice and very flexible and made me feel quite comfortable.
Description of Work: Cathy and Pat were simply fabulous. They were extremely professional but very willing to discuss what I hoped would get accomplished. They worked very hard for two solid hours and would have kept going if they had more time. I will have them back many more times. Cleaning AND organization. They are superb!

When I joined Angie's List, they were the first ones that I called. My closets were buried in 4 feet of junk; I could not even get into them. They put everything in categories. They took all of the stuff out of the bathroom and they separated everything. They paired all of my shoes up. They took all of the boxes to the lower level and sorted everything. They color-coded everything. They were on time and when they came through the door, they started grabbing stuff. There was no social, no coffee and there was no what do you want us to do. They take their time for lunch and when they got back, there was no talking. They did not stop to talk. It was nonstop work. They went straight to the closets. They are huge closets. I had them for five days and everyday my bed when they left the bed was uncovered so that I could sleep in it. They were so neat, clean, and had manners. They would go out for lunch and they would ask me if I wanted anything for lunch. They were perfect. They are pricey, for what they did, I would have paid double. They asked me what I wanted to throw away and I told them anything that looks like trash or junk throw it away. Anything that looked important they set it aside and told me that I needed to go through it. I had a give away section, charity section and a throw away section. They did an excellent job. They donated stuff. They were back from lunch on time and brought me back lunch. When they left, they would tell me what I could sort through. They changed my life. They gave me so much extra room and they told me that I only wear 20% of my clothes and the 80% I never wear and sure enough, they were right. Everything in my closet was a waist because I never wear it. They have a passion for what they do. They vacuumed, cleaned and dusted. They do general house keeping. I had a brand new vacuum sweeper that I did not know how to put together; they put it together for me. They did everything. They come highly recommended. I plan on having them back, because I am not finished. They do garages and they are going to clean out my kitchen cabinets. They said that they love to do kitchens. They are going to do my kitchen, garage and storage room and get rid of all of the stuff in there. They have excellent personalities and they work very well together. The first day they stayed from nine to three and the second day they came at 7am and stayed until 4p. They charge $60 an hour. Which is high, but you get what you pay for. I have a bad back and cannot lift heavy things so it changed my life. I cannot complain. It was money well spent. If they had me pay per the job, I would have kept them longer and they would have made more money. I would use them again. They told me that there was going to be two of them.

Thanks to Cathy and Pat I had one of the smoothest moves I've ever had, and I have moved 14 times in my adult life! They packed with great care, organizing things logically and labeling them clearly so there was no guesswork involved when it was time to unpack. They were patient and thorough and both listened to me and gave me helpful suggestions, which I was only too happy to follow. They work hard and quickly, thoroughly and thoughtfully. I could not have done this move without them. I cannot say enough good things about them.
Description of Work: Pre-move packing of all paintings and decor, dishes, breakables and 'precious' items; pre-move cleaning of home I was going to, post-move cleaning of home I left, and post-move unpacking and organization of entire kitchen contents. Over a period of 2 weeks together they worked around 20 hours with me at a cost far below what movers would have charged for a very much less personalized kind of packing.

They are helping pull my home together after a bad couple of years for me. I did not know where to start organizing my mess. In came Pat and Kathy and boom we started in together. You need to be willing to work with them. That is they rely on your input for for stuff. The first project was the Garage. it took two days but, now I can park my car inside! All my husbands artifacts are neatly stored and labeled and I can find the light bulbs! Who knew I had so many. Never judgmental , always kind , and on time these ladies sit me down and point me in the right direction. If you are willing to let go of your mess these are the ladies to help you pull it all together. Right now we are on a home organizational sweep. In the long run they are saving me money and time. I am finding just how many duplicates I have bought over the years because I could not find the last item. Don't ask about the scissors box :-) You need to be willing to let go of your fear and your stuff. Is this any good any more I ask. They will give you an honest opinion. For example they recommend I keep a table, while still advising what old dishes could go. For me, they sit me down and bring me items and boxes to sort while they find places for the keepers to go . Logical places. For me its what I need. Hire without fear fellow clutter bugs, these ladies are the team to go to . Just promise to leave me a day or two each month till my house is complete ;-) Money and time well spent.

I contacted Cathy before I moved in to our new house. I told her that due to my children's allergies (food, animal, dust mites etc) that I would need a very intense and thorough deep cleaning before we moved in. I was very specific with my requests. All traces of allergic foods, cat/dog hair and dust had to be removed. Cathy explained that she and her sister work together and they charge an hourly rate to thoroughly clean the house from top to bottom. Their schedule was full, but she managed to fit me in (even when I switched my move-in dates around on her). Cathy and Pat arrived promptly and got right to work. They scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed some more. They were cheerful, fun and happy. Very professional. Did everything that asked them to do and more! They brought in two other women to help as well because we had a deadline to meet before my kids arrived. The other women were just as delightful and hard-working. I was very pleased with the work they performed. They were a pleasure to be around. I wish I could have Cathy and Pat full-time!

Over the past 10 years I have moved 5 times and the word stress doesn't even cover the anxiety and physical exhaustion of the process. UNTIL THIS TIME! With ABC on the job, I had almost no stress at all! These ladies were phenomenal. They met me at the house and as the movers unloaded boxes, they unpacked and thoughtfully organized my new home. At the end of my moving weekend I have a livable, organized home. I did my homework and their prices are more than fair. They were a delight to spend a weekend with and were punctual and professional. Definitely will use them again and happy to enthusiastically recommend them.

I wanted a one-time deeper clean of my home. I found this team on Angie's list and had positive results to my inquiry. They were prompt and personable to my request for a quote and for performing the actual work. They did a nice job of getting down to the gritty clean my home needed. I would recommend them and plan to hire them for ongoing periodic touch-up cleans and future bigger organization projects.
Description of Work: Deep cleaning services addressing woodworking, above kitchen cabinets, fan blades, window sills, wood trim, behind heavy furniture etc. A team of three ladies came for a number of hours and hammered out some deeper cleaning I've never gotten around to. They were swift and came over a holiday weekend to accommodate my schedule and help me get the house ready for company.

Several years ago my husband had to spend six weeks in the hospital. When he came back, he needed a hospital bed that the insurance co. provided. That was placed next to the double bed, filling up the space in the bedroom. I think I became depressed because after that clothes and other junk started piling up on the double bed, on the floor, on the chair. It got so bad that I could not get to the closets, or access most of my clothes. I researched organizational firms on Angies List and liked what I read about ABC. I liked the fact that there are two of them, and I thought their price seemed fair. They truly performed a miracle and I couldn't be any happier with their services.
Description of Work: These two ladies were amazing. I never thought that we could get as much done as we ended up doing. They organized and cleaned piles and piles of clothes, knick-knacks, in a bedroom that no one could even enter because it was so full of stuff. Deep in the corner under a ton of junk was a scooter that was never used. These ladies were able to free to the scooter, and I was able to donate it to the MS Society. This room is now open and clean and organized. It's like a dream come true! I'll be using these ladies again for my guest bedroom. It needs help too. Well worth the money spent -- I gained peace of mind and that is priceless.

I hired ABC to clean a relative's home. The relative is elderly, had been unwell for some time, and there had been a mouse infestation, so there were serious problems in the bathrooms and kitchen. A team of two worked all day June 1 and a team of three worked most for June 2 to get things under control. These gals have a strong work ethic, high standards for cleanliness, and were conscious of cost -- that is, they kept in touch with me about the scope of work and made sure they didn't exceed the budget. Their hourly rate struck me as high, but this was an ugly job and they took care of it. One thing that surprised me was that they did not have their own vacuum cleaner and I had to come up with one (we had come in from out of town and could not bring our own). There is a good deal more cleaning and organizing in our future at this residence and I expect to ask them back!

I can't day enough about this company. Sisters Pat and Cathy are the best. They simply make everything better. They were wonderful to my mother. They treated her with respect, kindness, and caring. They have even brought goodies to my mother and even once brought us a roast dinner with sides. This meant so much to me as I had been ill. They have never been judgemental, even in the times when I was unable to do much of anything. They are never pushy or assumptive and always ask when I will need them again. They always go above and beyond. They even once brought a rolling rack for my clothes to my home so that they could re-organize and clean the walls and floors of my closet. They put all of my clothes back in so nicely. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful work! Very nice people to have around and they have great ideas for organizing and cleaning. They work quickly and efficiently and are very respectful. A service I will continue to use until our house gets back in order.

What a RELIEF to see the transformation from stuff scattered helter-skelter in our basement to organized containers labeled and arranged on shelves and tables (with mounds of trash and recyclables out on the curb to be hauled away). Pat and Cathy are sisters with delightful personalities, who are passionate about helping people de-clutter their lives so that it is more enjoyable. They made me feel like they understood why I was overwhelmed with all the clutter and they proved that together we could conquer it. I certainly appreciated the cheerful manner in which they approached this big job. They talked with me during the de-cluttering to determine which items were going to be kept, donated, recycled, shredded, or trashed. They also provided wonderful ideas on how to handle incoming mail, practical ways to store things, where to buy storage tools and containers, and how to locate Shredding Companies and Recycle Centers in our area. I will definitely hire them again because they are so talented at organizing and so easy to work with. And the extra bonus is that their CAN-DO ATTITUDE has inspired me to continue to de-clutter and to maintain the and quot;orderand quot; that they created!
Description of Work: ABC Cleaning and Organizational Service was very responsive to my request for de-cluttering our Basement and they arranged service times that were convenient for us. They were punctual, polite, and professional. I was amazed at how much they accomplished in such a short time. Their rate was extremely reasonable at $30 per hour for each Organizer. Cathy and Pat make a great team, both are energized, and assisted each other while working with me. They are MIRACLE WORKERS! They worked extra-ordinarily fast and organized a 1500 sq ft area in just 3 sessions (they each worked 10 hours, for a total of 20 hours, over a 3 day period). They sorted through and organized 12 years of my clutter (which included 40 boxes of piled-up paperwork, magazines, photos, keepsakes, etc.) helping me decide what to keep, recycle, or shred for security reasons. They also sorted, organized, packed, and labeled my daughter's ENTIRE household belongings (kitchen, bath, office, and bedroom including lots of clothing). This will greatly benefit her when she moves again. They really went "beyond the call of duty" when they carried many bags and boxes from our basement out to our garbage collection area in time for our weekly pick-up ~ and then boxed and transported many donated items to a Charity, providing us with a receipt for tax purposes. When they finished working, I felt like a great weight had been lifted from my shoulders!

A most pleasant and rewarding experience. I wish I had met these girls 6 months ago, and I would have been done with my house clean out and remodeling project months ago. I look forward to their return visit when I start my thorough house cleaning after all the repairmen are finished.
Description of Work: Wow, these two exceptional ladies accomplished more in an hour and a half than I could have accomplished in two weeks! They arrived right on time, brought supplies and started packing and organizing immediately. They were so quick and efficient on the first project that they started another one of emptying out an entire closet and relocating the contents so I would still have access to my things while that room gets painted and the floors refinished.

She was great and I loved her. She was kind enough to schedule me in and she was really prompt. She came by as she said and she was on time. I thought she was just coming to give me an estimate but she came to work. She spent two hours with me and gave me great pointers. She really helped me get motivated and get started. I got a little bit done. She also gave me pointers on where I could donate and she told me how I could get a hard drive wiped on an old computer. She told me how I could get clothes and furniture out of the house. I truly, truly loved working with her. The price was reasonable and I was happy with it. She was very professional but approachable. She was really nice and I was comfortable with her and didn't mind having her in my home. I felt I could trust her and I felt safe. I was very impressed with her and I wish I could have her back.

I was overwhelmed with paperwork that needed to be sorted out. I called them, and they set up some time a couple of weeks later. They were friendly and personable when they came. The hourly rate that they quoted me was per person and I did not understand that until they tallied up the bill at the end, but I did not ague with them because it was worth the money.

Overall, it went well. The timing was off with some of the construction so I ended up paying for some things twice, but that was no ones fault. The information on the provider is around cleaning and organizing so I just wanted the cleaning portion. I was also looking for a regular schedule after the move in clean. They put me on the first time and then said that they couldn't do it going forward for a variety of reasons. The diappointing part is that I would have used another service as now I am going to have the pay the first time cleaning fee again to another company. Overall the service provided was good and the people were friendly.
