Abbey's Fence

Fantastic work! Was having difficulty getting any of the large fence companies to be able to look at my project- "too small for them". Many suggested next door, thumbtack, angi. So I put in my info at Angi and they suggested about 3-5 companies- Abbey Fence was the first. I called the company number and was answered by the owner J. Kellerman. We talked for about 20 minutes and I sent him info and pic of the work area. J scheduled me for a Friday visit and he called me the AM of to alert that they would be out early PM. He called again to alert me they were leaving their first site and were coming to mine. He showed up shortly and looked over the project- commented that it was small job so they'd be charging the minimum- he'd established this already on our first talk. He and staff worked the job- replaced a few items that had some bad rust on it. They finished the job in a few hours and even added some paint to spruce up the chain link. When done, the fence was in better shape then before it got taken down- very straight and hung well with clearance to move better. Would highly recommend this company and will plan on using them for any future major fence work. KUDOS ALL AROUND FOR THE WORK DONE, TIMELINESS, COMMUNICATION, AND COST.

They came promptly for the estimate and returned when we had further questions. The came sooner than they had said they would to put in the fence, and finished the job in a day. There was a miscommunication about one component of the job and our estimator Tim and the boss Jim were out immediately with the crew to fix it up to our satisfaction. Jim the owner was very polite nice and answered all of my questions. The installers were very friendly and nice and professional. The end result was a good job.

I was not told in beginning that it woul be 9 weeks before work could begin. I would have looked for another company but that would require a new city permit. Soon after fence was completed a motorist damaged it. I got a bid from Abbey but the adjuster missed seeing a cracked post. When I sent a picture of the crack no one got back with me so I went with another company for repair.

Absolutely amazing company. I had them come out in a Friday for a bid and was told they were booked out 3 weeks...I told him that I was really hoping to have it done within the next week because of my dog. They made some phone calls and arranged for them to be able to come out that next Wednesday. The 3 gentleman that came out worked very hard and got the whole job done in one day. They even stayed until 7;30pm to finish the job. I am very pleased!!!

Great job with repair. Repairman was able to troubleshoot some hiccups in repairing a roughly 40 y/o chain link fence. Results were great. They ran into a wasp nest problem and had to leave in late evening, but returned the next day to wrap up a few minor tasks.

The fence was installed in the wrong place. They put it in my retaining wall and punctured my French drain. The cement from the post holes blocked the flow of water through my French drain and I demonstrated this for the owner. When I asked the owner to fix the problem he informed me that he doesn't have insurance and that he wouldn't fix the problem. During the heated argument he picked up a shovel, held it over his head and threatened to hit me in the head. I called 911 and had him removed from the property.

He and his workers installed the fence in two days in November 2017 on the scheduled dates. The bottom line is they did an outstanding job. The fence was installed as described in the contract and all the sides were as straight as an arrow. They cleaned up everything so you would never know they did the job at that time. I highly recommend using Abbey Fence. I am extremely happy with the final product plus they were a little less expensive compared to other vendors. Thanks Jim.

Everything went well. Jim came out and provided a bid in a timely fashion. His price was more competitive than the other bids I received. His crew showed up on time and finished the work in half a day. They walked me through everything to make sure I did not have any questions or issues with the work.

I highly recommend Abbey Fence for any project you might need. Great communication, and competitive pricing. Our fence itself looks amazing and was put up very quickly. Jim and his crew helped us out in numerous ways and were definitely the best choice for our fence!
