I haven't used them in a while, though. I have an antique vacuum cleaner. I've had this antique Electrolux vacuum for 30 years and they've kept it going. They don't come to you, You take it in. They're ready on time. If not, they'll call you.

It was great. My vacuum cleaner died and so I went on Angie’s List for a repair place to take it for repairs. I found and they were closer to me than the other place. I took it up there and he explained why mine was not really able to be fixed, or not worth being fixed because it would cost too much money. He showed me the part and explained why, which made complete sense given the age and all. So I opted to buy one. I asked him if they sold them because he had a lot of them in there. He said that the sales refurbished ones and new ones. I wasn’t interested in a refurbished one so I looked at the new ones. He sells a brand that the company plant is in Missouri, Simplicity Vacuums. He explained everything about them very thoroughly. He demonstrated the vacuum cleaner and I asked a lot of questions. He explained the pricing. I didn’t buy one that day and I told him that I needed to think about it and was going to check out other prices in stores. He explained the warranty and everything. It really sounded like something I wanted to do, but it was a lot of money. I was back probably a week later and I ended up buying the vacuum and I am very happy with it. He is terrific and it would be a great place to go if I needed anything. I have told several people about it. He owns the shop and he is in there, and he really knows his stuff. I trusted him completely and I felt really good about that. It was expensive, and obviously right before Christmas it is kind of icky. I was thinking about buying a Dyson and he explained why a Dyson was probably not the way to go. He showed me the parts on a Dyson that he had in the shop, and that kind of sealed the deal.

I dropped the vacuum off on a Thursday and they said it might be 5 days before it was ready. However, on Monday they called, letting me know how much the service was and that it was fixed. When I picked it up they told me that the belt in the vacuum was becoming worn, but that it still worked and didn't need to be replaced yet. It was a great experience.

Great experience from start to finish. I called AAA (after having been at another vacuum repair shop where I was not pleased with the service) and I received great directions to find them, immediate service when I walked in, a quick assessment of the problem with the hose, a choice of several solutions to my problem in acceptable price ranges, and then the tune up and cleaning of the motor, etc, all completed within a couple of hours! I was called as soon as the service was completed. I was able to bring the vacuum home the same day.

Took longer for them to finish then they originally estimated, but the work was good and the final bill was $10 less than the original estimate.

There was dust coming from the vacuum and they got it where it doesn't spew that out any more. I have used them a lot over the years. I am happy with their service and they are knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

I NEEDED A GOOD VACUUM CLEANER - ESPECIALLY GOOD WITH PET HAIR AND DUST. AT FIRST I BOUGHT A DYSON AND RETURNED IT THE NEXT DAY. I SEARCHED THE WEB AND CHECKED OUT SEVERAL TOP OF THE LINE CLEANERS. THEN I CAME ACROSS SIMPLICITY WHICH IS MANUFACTURED RIGHT HERE IN ST. JAMES, MO. AND ONLY SOLD THROUGH AUTHORIZED DEALERS. AAA WAS THE CLOSEST DEALER FOR ME. FIRST I CALLED and ASKED A LOT OF QUESTIONS ON MEILE AND SIMPLICITY. THEN I WENT IN. THESE GUYS REALLY KNOW ALL VACUUM CLEANERS! I ASKED FOR COMPARISONS ON SEVERAL and DEMOS AND I USED THEM AS WELL. THEY WERE PATIENT AND NOT PUSHY. I ENDED UP WITH THE SIMPLICITY UPRIGHT (ALL TOOLS ON BOARD) AND A FREE PACKAGE OF REPLACEMENT BAGS FOR A 3-DAY TRIAL. I STILL HAVE IT. AAA DOES A GREAT JOB ON REPAIRS AS WELL.

VERY HELPFUL, HONEST. HE LISTENED TO WHAT I NEEDED, AND DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME A UNIT WITH FEATURES I DID NOT NEED. VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.
