 + -1 moreRonnie came to the house and needed to replace the deadbolts for the 3 exterior doors because of the way the old ones had been installed. He also discovered that the deadbolt on the front door had been drilled improperly and the deadbolt wasn't even locking. He installed the new door knob for the basement, but needed to order a special lock for the cabinets. He insisted that we not pay him until the job was complete. He left and came back about a week later and installed the locks on the cabinet. He was very professional, cleaned up his mess and was easy to work with. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: We moved into a new house and needed 3 exterior doors re-keyed, and additional lock placed on the door to the basement and a lock placed on liquor cabinet.

 + -1 moreWe needed to replace all the locks on our rental property before the new tenant moved in. I had a very short time frame to do so. A-Plus was very flexible and accommodating to my schedule. When I had to call at the last minute to reschedule, they were cheerful and helpful, giving me the exact time I asked for. The locksmith arrived at the beginning of the specified time window, calling me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. The work was done quickly and professionally. The locksmith was professional, and courteous. He cleaned up each worksite thoroughly, even chasing down a tiny screw that went rolling onto the porch. These were all exterior doors, and the outside temperature was 100 degrees, but he worked quickly and efficiently in the excessive heat. For four deadbolt cylinders, 12 keys, and an hour's work in those conditions, I'd say the price was a bargain. The new locks and keys all work well. The doors look great. No complaints. I would definitely use them again.

 + -1 morewent great. locksmith explained alternatives and let me select the optimum solution to an immediate problem. Showed me a couple of tricks to make the installation process quick. I was able to install 2 deadbolts and 2 handles in less than an hour.
Description of Work: I had two locks of 4 break in the past week. I went ot my hardware store and purchased two deadbolt handle combinations. Deadbolts wouldn't fit without enlarging the keyholes. I returned the sets to the hardware store and explained the problem. The hardware store told me I needed a locksmith. I looked A-Plus up in the yellow pages. Took one of the deadbolts with me. Explained the problem and they solved it. Even keyed the locks for one key. Was very impressed with the service,the advice, and the explanations I received.
