"Attention all contractors ! Do not work for this customer, period. She seems to have anxiety issues and does not listen well! I never did any work for her. I came to her home and gave her an estimate I Told her I could start the job the day after Christmas but not early in the morning. It would be late morning or early afternoon . and that I would call her when I was on my way. I specifically said not in the early morning since it was the day after Christmas.The day after Christmas at 1020am I found my phone on the charger when I was getting ready to call her to let her know I was on my way to her home. I noticed she had called me at 800 am and was wondering where I was and again at 1015 with a very anxious message that she found me unresponsive and unprofessional. and not to come. From now on I will put these times in writing and make the customer initial them as if it were a legal document."

"showing up in 24 hours to give a bid is very responsive. The job I had to finish before I could start her job was taking a little longer than expected. Estimates on time frames to complete any job is just that... An Estimate. I came the next day and sealed the cracks. I had to wait for the sealant to dry. The next day I started sanding and painting.The home owner was out of town and had given me a key. I was at her home for 8 hours every day there after and finished the job in the time I had told her it would take . she left all rooms heavily furnished with little room to maneuver and yet I pain stakenly sealed all stucco grooves and and cracks most by hand with an elastic compound nor joint compound and painted all the rooms with nice crisp lines. Contractors are not computers and most of us work in good faith to start a job and finish in a timely manner. and deliver the best results possible. even though we are often asked to make a silk purse from a pigs ear."
