Very well. The electric company (KCP&L) was not cooperative, but T Lane had the knowledge and gravitas to get them moving. The job was done very well, in a few hours. They seemed very competent and very interested in doing first class work. The explained everything they were going to do and how they were going to do it before they started the job. The price seemed reasonable to me. They were easy to talk to. Very polite. Well equipped. I plan to hire them again when I redo the wiring in my 100 year old house.

My dryer would not turn on.  I am a fix it yourself kind of gal.  I took the whole thing apart and ordered new thermostate and fuse and replaced them but it still wouldn't work.  I then realized that it must be an electrical problem.  I don't mess with electrical stuff.  I called up Larry, who is a family friend and explained that the light was now flickering but still not working.  He insisted on coming straight over, worried that there was a short.  He had just gotten home from work and hadn't even had supper yet!  He found the problem immediately and had it fixed and working quickly.  He is a super sweet, professional man and safety is his top concern.  A+++++

My house is old and very atypical in almost every way as it is a converted carriage house. A three man team installed 5 large outdoor sconce lights and two large spot lights all on dusk to dawn photocells. 4 of the sconce lights were replacing existing fixtures but no one could find any power directing to them. They searched for almost a whole day and then came to me with three different solutions and associated costs to get the lights working properly. They were very considerate and efficient in solving the problem so that the lights worked correctly but also looked nice on my home. They were very professional and courteous and kept me informed the whole time. The lighting works just as they said it would and looks great.

We have an older home that had a variety of wiring.  I checked "Angie's List" and found several companies.  Larry from T Lane is the only company that would respond and give us an estimate.  Larry did a walk through, and a few days later Michael came by and did a second walk through to double check the information.  Larry came back with his bid, and told us he could start the next day and it would take 2-3 weeks to complete.  The first day, the crew arrived right at 8:00 a.m. and had almost the entire basement finished on the first day.  They kept us informed the entire time as to the plans for the next day, and what problems they found as they progressed through the house.  They did a good job of cleaning up each day, and protecting things that could not be moved.  Remolding is stressful, but these guys made it much easier.  When they were finished they took the time to show us what they had done, and why it had to be that way.  When the city inspector came through, he found no problems.  One big plus is they thought they would have to make a lot of holes to get the wiring done.  They only needed to cut 5 small places on the second floor.  They worked hard to make sure we didn't have a lot of patching to do after they left.  It took them a total of 10 days to get the job completed.  These guys are great!

It was fine. The guy that actually owns the company, he's okay but his son is a lot more nicer though; a lot more personable. It only took them less than 2 hours to finish the work. There were two workers and they were very prompt. They got it done for me really quick.

They were there, and performed the work in a timely manner. They were in and out, and if there was an issue with getting there, they got in touch with us, so that we could arrange an alternate time.

T Lane came out to disconnect the light original light fixture, ordered the new one, and then when it came it, they installed it on 1/10/14. The new fixture was installed in a slightly different location to prevent further issues. Work was done quickly and professionally. And they were able to work around our business schedule to prevent any disruption to our customers.
We will definitely use them again in the future!

T Lane Electric came to my place of business, determine what the issues were and recommended new lighting and signs. After receivingt the estimate, we agreed with their suggestion. T Lane ordered the signs and came to install them as soon as they were delivered. They completed the job in a timely manner. In addition, some the signs and lights were in our lobby and they were very considerate and accommodation to our customers that were coming in and out of the building.

They were pleasant and they walked through the house and gave me some prices of things that needed to be done.
