Shoe Repair
I have a pair of dress shoes that was wearing through the ball of one shoe. I took the shoes to St. Joe Boot and asked to have them half-soled. Their shoe/boot repairman inspected the shoes and asked whether I wanted leather or composition half-soles. I said leather. He pointed out that the heels were wearing on the outsides and recommended new heels as well. I agreed to this. The half-soles were $30 (whether leather or composition) and the heels were $16. I left the shoes on a Monday, and he said they would be ready the following Saturday. They were ready as promised. I am very satisfied with their service and quality.
