Of course, the manager said it was not covered because it could have been an impact. Which it was NOT. I would have most definately noticed if something hit my windshield right in front of my face while I was driving!!
Safelite would not agree to give us the benefit of the doubt, and just replace it and keep a very good customer happy. We've had 3 windshields replaced and paid for in the last year on all our vehicles.
