Nothing to say here, other than we called him, he promptly arrived at the specified time, did the work, was paid and am very satisfied.

Babcock Contracting met at appointed time to do estimate.
He explained all work to be done and why.
We set a date for work. They showed up on time and completed all agreed upon work.
He found one other area that needed a minor repair and did NOT charge any additional.

My house is a fixer and the roof was leaking from an area that was flat. Mr. Babcock said the flat area of the roof had been roofed incorrectly with shingles. His crew removed the old shingles and put on a rolled roof that was torched-down. The leaking stopped. At that time Mr. Babcock also noticed that the rest of my roof above the eave along one side had been shingled incorrectly. The roofing nails were exposed. I wanted to see what had been done so Mr. Babcock helped me up the ladder and showed me the nails. I did not have that repaired until later when the roof was damaged by a hail storm. I had Mr. Babcock remove all the old shingles (two layers) on the house and the detached garage and put all new shingles on. He also said the chimney had been flashed wrong so he fixed that. His crew laid out tarps before starting to catch debris and then lastly ran something over the yard to pick up any stray nails. I am extremely happy with both roofs. Mr. Babcock is honest and has reasonable prices. Not the cheapest but very reasonable. I didn't really want to go with "the cheapest."
