Their staff is so courteous and nice. We enjoy working with them. Usually after we are there after a regular appointment, they call to check on the dog to see how he is doing. We've used them several times.

Dr Judy is great.  She is very compassionate and really listens to the owner. You can tell she loves animals - she is very gentle and caring when checking over my cat.  I switched to this clinic based on Angie's List reviews and I am glad I did.  Their hours are great.   All the office staff are good - they are very helpful and know their stuff.  Great vet clinic.  I trust them totally with the specialized care of my cat with cancer.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tender Care. My dog Bailey was diagnosed with high blood pressure by Dr. Bob. This gave me another 18 months with my dog. When it got closer to the end of her life, Dr. Judy explained everything to me that was happening with my dog. The day that Bailey went to dog Heaven, Dr. Judy was so kind, compassionate and understanding. The techs and office staff: Tonia, Amy, Linda, etc. are incredible! The last vet office I went to, if I called with any question they acted like I was bothering them. That NEVER happens at Tender Care. They truly care about us and our animals. The techs really know their stuff; I have been so impressed with their knowledge. I feel so fortunate to have found Tender Care. They are my angels on earth!

We went to them when we first purchased our puppy seven years ago. They had a deal between a kennel and the vet. You get a discount if you put your pet to that particular vet. We did and they were very nice. They've done a good work. We've used them ever since. They just are nice people. All the staff is very sweet and nice. The doctor seemed very interested in helping me. I've only taken one of our pets there when he was sick. The rest of the time, it has just been the well service. They called up the following day to double check and make sure he was okay. Their price is like everybody else. It's high.

I had recently got a new puppy and after reading the positive reviews for Tender Care, I decided to go there for an initial check-up and to get information about spaying.  Everyone there was very nice and professional.  They gave me a detailed cost analysis of how much it would cost to spay her.  I decided to go ahead with the surgery.  I dropped her off in the morning on my way to work.  They let me know around what time the surgery would take place so I wouldn't be worried all day and the doctor herself gave me a call when my puppy had woken up.  I picked my puppy up that evening and was given detailed instructions on how to care for her the next several days.  They even did a follow-up call to make sure she was doing well and to see if I had anymore questions.  I will likely continue to go there for my vet needs.

This is a great place!  We changed vets because this is much closer to our house and last year's visit for our dog's exam and shots at our old vet was extremely expensive.  Everyone is very friendly and Dr. Amy was great!  We will definitely be bringing our animals back.

We love this office! They treat our cats as their own. Whenever we have had to visit for anything that isn't routine, we always get a follow up call to check to see how our pets are doing. Our human doctors aren't even this concerned! When our work schedule doesn't allow us to be available for our appointment time, they are happy to care for our cats before and after. Dr. Judy is the best. She always has a treat with her to try to put our cats at ease. It rarely works but she is very patient as they freak out :)

Dr Jane was so sweet and nice to my kitty.  She came into the room and tried to make friends with him.  Even brought him a little treat to eat so she could win him over.  She was very professional and listened to me before checking out my cat.  A very nice visit.

Tendercares nurses are great and caring. Dr. Judy simply loves animals and you can tell that in the way she treats ally dogs.

We will definitely come back next year.  We got our dog from the humane society. I have taken her to two other vets, but I felt like we were just the 9:00 o'clock appt. or were rushed from one person to another.  Not so at Tender Care Animal Hospital.  I was impressed right away by Dr Susan Starr and the technician.  Their approach to our dog was calm, quiet and friendly.  She can get very excited with new people and this approach put both of us at ease.  The technician reviewed the cost of services with me in writing prior to the exam. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to "up grade" the services.  The exam was complete and all my questions were addressed. I feel that it was a great first meeting and plan to make Tender Care Animal Hospital and Dr Susan Starr part of our yearly plan.

The staff at Tender Care Animal Hospital are all so friendly and helpful. When I called to set up the first appointment for our new 8 week old shih poo puppy, Tibbers, we were able to get an appointment the same day. Everyone seems very knowledgeable and are very willing to answer any questions you have. They genuinely care about the animals they see. We saw Dr. Susan Starr today, and she was wonderful. She explained what they found concerning the parasite in his stool and how and why it needs to be treated. We were given a schedule of future visits and shots along with an estimate of costs. I appreciate how upfront they are about the fees that may be incurred. While signing one of the estimate forms, the tech even mentioned that they don't like to hide anything from their customers. We felt very comfortable taking our puppy here and look forward to developing a long relationship with everyone there.

I arrived at the clinic first thing in the morning to drop my dog (Wilson) off to have his teeth cleaned.  The receptionist greeted me (by name!) upon my arrival.  She then put us into an exam room where a vet tech reviewed the procedure with me and set my mind at ease.  They ran a blood test on Wilson prior to putting him under anesthesia, just to ensure that he was healthy enough to handle the anesthesia ? since he is 10 years old!  After the blood test came back normal, they went ahead with the procedure.  The doctor (yes, the DOCTOR! ?not a receptionist) called me to let me know that the procedure had gone well and my boy was awake from the anesthesia.  When I went to pick up my dog, the technician reviewed my discharge instructions with me, and she gave me before and after pictures of my dog?s teeth.  Let me tell you, those pictures were hard proof of my money well spent!  Wilson?s teeth went from a dingy beige to shiny white!  The tech also informed me that they would be open until 8pm that evening just in case any problems arose.  Of course, nothing bad happened after I got him home, but it was great to know that they were available just in case.  The next day, the doctor (AGAIN ? THE DOCTOR!!!) called me to check on Wilson and make sure that he was back to his normal self.   I was really impressed by the professionalism of everyone I encountered at Tender Care, and I felt like they genuinely cared about not only my dog, but also about ME!  I have called several times since the teeth cleaning to ask various questions and they have never made me feel like my question was stupid or that I was bothering them by calling.  I love them, and I wouldn?t trust my dog?s health to anyone else!

I am happy I found Tender Care Animal Hospital! Not only do my dogs get great care, it is affordable too! Before going to Tender Care, I had been to one of the corporate owned animal hospitals. I didn't know the difference in the quality of care, but I do now! Everyone that works at Tender Care Animal Hospital (from the receptionist to the pet nurses to the doctors) genuinely care not only about the dogs and cats but also about their owners. The doctor gave my dog a thorough exam right in the exam room with me and explained what she was checking, not like the other place that took my dog in the back for the exam and some tests. She also asked me questions about my dog and her health, and made my dog feel more relaxed. They had a vaccine package that made my dog's shots and annual visit more affordable. I liked that I was given options and could choose what was best for me and my pet and could stay within my budget! From the time I call and make an appointment until the time I check out. I am impressed with how friendly and professional the staff is.
I had started using Tender Care Animal Hospital because of another experience that impressed me. My dog Pixie, was throwing up. I called Tender Care and got an appointment that day. After an exam with Dr Judy, she ran some blood tests, and found Pixie had pancreatitis. Dr Judy answered all my questions and helped me choose the best care for Pixie. After a few days of hospitalization Pixie wasn't improving so Dr Judy recommended an ultra sound which showed Pixie had an abscess on her pancreas that would require surgery. This was a high risk surgery that usually requires a specialist. I could not afford a specialist so the doctors at Tender Care agreed to do the surgery at a more affordable cost. The doctors really went the extra mile; they took Pixie home for overnight care and observation for a few nights after surgery! In all Pixie required a month of intensive care. If it wasn't for the superior quality of care given to Pixie, she would not be here today. The doctors kept me updated daily on Pixie's condition, and I was allowed to visit Pixie while in the hospital. I saw the genuine compassion the doctors and staff have for the hospitalized patients. Ever since, I have been highly recommending Tender Care Animal Hospital to everyone I know!

It's the best vet clinic we have ever been to. They did x-rays and an exam. They are very nice and try to make things as inexpensive as possible.

They are better than okay. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

As always, the staff and Dr. Judy were superb!! My dog is doing well after the script prescribed by Dr. Judy. My dog is as relaxed as can be expected when treated by Dr. Judy. She is a true animal lover and so sweet!

I have been going there for several years. Everyone there is very, very friendly. They all love animals. My dogs are never afraid to go in because they know they are going to get attention. I will continue to use this provider.

Our Emmy, who we call the perfect dog went poop in the house twice(which she may have gone one other time in the house and we have 2 dogs so ti was hard to tell but she looked guilty).  This time I was sure as when I let them out she went again and it was loose before I let her out Friday morning (same morning routine as any day) and she wasn't interested in eating. Throughout the day she definitely wasn't feeling good and she also had diarreha. Saturday morning it was the same kind of BM as yesterday so I called Dr. Judy's office. They were able to get me in right away, so off we went. When we walked in the door we were greeted by Amy and another young lady working at the front desk. After being weighted and rejecting Dr. Judy's off of a treat off to a room we went. Brianne came in talked to us and said Dr. Judy would be in shortly. Dr. Judy came in as always sat on the floor and talked to Emmy who again refused the doctor's offer of a little treat of canned dog food (the good kind) Emmy wouldn't have anything to do with it. We talked, Dr Judy examined her and took wax our of her ears which we did find out she had an ear infection. They also expressed her anal sac.

Everyone is very nice and you can tell they genuinely like animals. I am always comfortable with the whole experience and our dogs especially when I bring both don't mind it in the reception area pr the room, Emmy is a little more cautious than Buddy. Our dogs are more comfortable with Dr. Judy than any other vet we have taken them to. It took going through two vets to find the one that was right for us.

When I walked in the door, I was greeted by a warm smile.  After weighing Pepper, we were promptly placed in an examining room and greeted by Elizabeth who filled out a form listing Pepper's systems.  Dr. Judy then examined Pepper thoroughly and explained various options to treat his condition.  Very warm and friendly.

I brought my ferret girl Freya in for her last routine surgery follow-up and blood work. She had both of her adrenal glands removed in late June 2011 and  needed medication to ensure she did not have any post-surgery complications. Blood work was done every couple of weeks as well. After each visit, the amount of medication she needed was reduced. After this visit, Freya received a clean bill of health. She was happy she did not have take any more medicine!!

As always, Dr. Bob (aka Robert McCool) and Tender Care staff were caring and professional!
