 + -1 moreWe went to someone else. He finally got the estimate to us two weeks too late and it was way overpriced. He wouldn't answer the phone and when he did, he gave excuses. He did come out on time to take the measurements.
Description of Work: The guy from Tabaka Construction came out to give us an estimate for a house that we had purchased and he gave every excuse in the book on why he couldn't give us an estimate in the timeframe that we needed. There were excuses like he lost the measurements or his 4 year old trashed his laptop. We had bought a house that was in foreclosure and it needed a bunch of remodeling work.

 + -1 moreI am happy with the work. An example was with the walls. Rough spots were sanded off before painting. That would of never crossed my mind to do first. I was impressed with his work ethic. He cared about doing a good job and that was reflected with the work he did. A friend of mine had work done by Mark. That is how I got hooked up with him. Learning he was not listed on Angie's list, I wanted to let other people know of my positive experience with him. The one difficult part was the time it took to complete the work. It did take longer than I had thought. That may of been due to our recent holidays he worked inbetween. Yes, I will be having him back to do more work.
Description of Work: A new light was put in our basement. The den was painted. Two swing lamps and tv were hung on wall with the wiring going thru the wall. The den's closet became an built-in bookcase. The doors were taken out and replaced with stained shelves with trim. New electric hook up was put in the closet where our dvd, computer, etc. are being stored.
