They seemed reasonably priced and I mainly loved their 2 year warranty! We went from dark cherry wood cabinets to white. The cabinets started chipping not even a month after they painted them. You can imagine how horrible the chipping looks since they were dark cherry wood before. Not to mention, they got overspray from the paint all over everything! When the time came to honor that warranty they did a complete 180 when it came to honoring it and their customer service was horrible. Every time I called, I could not get through to the owner who I had dealt with before. The owner, Mike was avoiding my calls and even told the assistant that he doesn’t remember me as a customer! No matter how many times I called, he was never there and never returned my call. At a lose, I contacted the BBB and he told them I was never a customer either so that went nowhere. He got away with saying I was never a customer because the painting was paid for and scheduled under my fiancés name. Mike is a conniving person who does not honor his word for warranty’s. This place is a scam!!

We were impressed with the background info on the crew, that we received from Mike Wotawa, the owner of Selah Painting, before the job started. The crew from Selah arrived on time. We had not worked with this company before so we had a bunch of questions for them, which they answered courteously and professionally, My wife and I both worked but my daughter stayed home during the project since she goes to St Charles Community College and told my wife and I that the crew worked pretty much the moment they got to the house and didn't stop until they leave at the end of the day. Mike stayed in contact with us constantly and made sure that we were satisfied with the outcome every step of the way. We only had a few minor things at then end which they fixed right away. The crown mounding and the repainted baseboard really popped after the new paint job. Overall, Selah's quality and professionalism showed and we could not be happier with the outcome of this project.

Wow! What a great experience and final result. Mike and his team are top notch! Everyone was very professional and I trusted them completely when I wasn’t there. They were very curtious and were so quiet I gave them trouble about it! They strived to be as noninvasive as possible and cleaned up each afternoon before they left! Who does that anymore? Mike was also very honest and straight forward to deal with. Definite 10 out of 10!!!

Excellent, they even worked around the insurance adjuster and clean up folks after tenants had a fire. Professionals all the way will hire again when needed.

Mike and his team did a great job in all ways; from the quality of the paint he selected, scheduling, followup, cleanliness, and of course the actual painting. There were a few changes mid-stream and he adjusted as needed, addressing a few items neither of us had anticipated. He stayed on track with our schedule and absolutely delivered as needed. Very reasonable on cost including the cost of the adjusted services we had to request. He certainly runs his business professionally and delivers the results as needed. We anticipate painting a few other rooms in the next 12 months and will use Selah Painting for sure.

All good. Quote process was easy. Arrived on scheduled and did a great job. Price was competitive.

Told me they had a crew and sent one guy for the job, which wasn't that big of deal just took longer then expected. Painting was good and painter was professional just end of service was terrible. Upon completion of job I expected a call from Mike to perform a walk through to talk about some minor problems I had with the caulking and trim. A week went by and and no contact; however, I received an invoice, via email. So I called Mike and explained my issues. He said he wouldn't be able to make it out to fix problems until next week. I advised Mike that I was out of town the following week and we agreed to remedy the situation the week after. I felt bad not paying Mike for so long so I sent him a check for services minus $500, expecting the $500 to be enough money to get Mike out and do the maybe four hours of work that needed to be done. When I got back from vacation I contacted Mike and he told me he would get back the following week. It's been almost a month now and have not heard from Mike. I fixed he issue myself and saved $500. Small company who obviously didn't care about finishing the job.

Selah Painting did a great job painting at our house.  Before starting the job, Mike gave us some very helpful suggestions about what to do with our space.  The painters were also very considerate while they were at our house.  We have a baby and they were quiet while she was taking naps.  The price was reasonable and customer service was good.  Because of these reasons, we are happy we chose Selah Painting.

My husband and I had a tough 180 degree carpeted stairwell about 20 feet tall that needed painting. Mike did an exceptional job. He was punctual, quick and very professional. His pricing was fair and competitive. We will make sure to give him a call again if we need another project painted!

Mike is very professional in all his dealings.  We have used him about 4 times over the last 5 years and we have always been extremely satisfied.  The workmanship is top of the chart!  He was always on time, made helpful suggestions, and the clean-up was super.  I can't say enough good things about Selah Painting.  We look forward to using them again when we need a painting job completed.

Selah does excellent work,  Mike is very professional, on-time, accurate in his estimates and he cleans up well when the job is done.  He uses quality materials and has proven to be a trusted advisor as far as all surfaces and treatments.

Excellent! He is considerate, aware of previous materials used on walls and woodwork, such as old paints existing on the walls and woodwork. He uses the finest paints requested and is conscious of work preparation prior to any paint application. I have even trusted him to choose the color palettes that work together. I am an artist myself and pleased with his work and clean up.

I have hired Mike for three times in the past years. Very satisfied!!! without any hesitate to hire him when needed.

SIMPLY AMAZING!! They were very courteous and clean in our new home. The attention to detail was fantastic. He made the 14 year old home look BRAND NEW! They only use the top quality paint. They are on time and easy to work with. I worked with Mike to get everything set up and he was awesome. My husband saw more of the day to day progress and was always impressed with the level of service and commitment to the job. I can't wait to have him back!

I watched Mike (owner of the company) and an employee paint the interior of our neighbor's garage. He also did some repair work and staining on their deck railings. I stopped and asked if he would mind coming by our house and giving me an estimate for work we wanted done. Mike came by at the end of his day, took notes of what we wanted done and sent me an estimate via email the next day. In addition to wanting our garage walls, kitchen ceiling and exterior doors painted we needed our deck cleaned because mold had grown in various places.
He showed up on time on the promised start date and did the exterior work while the weather was good. Our deck proved to be a challenge. Our deck is made of a composite material and Mike took the time to call the manufacturer to find out what product he should use to clean the deck. The product that was recommended was not getting up the mold and Mike was told he could not us a power washer on the composite material. So he called again and was told to try bleach. Still no luck. He called manufacturer once more and was given the name of another deck cleaner. To make matters worse, he was told by the manufacturer he could not scrub the deck with a brush. So Mike cleaned the deck with rags and a hose and did a wonderful job. I believe Mike went above and beyond what we expected of him in getting our deck mold-free.
Our job took 3 days to complete. Mike cleaned up at the end of each day and I did not find a speck of paint on any floor or furniture. I plan on using Mike again in the spring to paint our master bath, paint exterior trim around the windows and clean a stained concrete patio.
