 + 0 moreOverall it went poorly. For a finish carpenter they were basically were sloppy. The screws in the stabilize are all over the place not even going up the steps in something close to a straight line. He was supposed to stabilize an post to the hand rail. He gave us the material and basically told us to do it ourselves.
Description of Work: 18 x 30 deck and screened in porch. Told him up front that communication and him being on the job site was important to us. Deck and screened in porch were to be as maintenance free as possible. The railing in the screened in porch was cedar and it should of been a composite railing. The balusters were to be black round metal. Item was no longer available so we had to pick another product. When the footing holes were dug and concrete poured for the 6 x 6 ceder support posts he was supposed to be on the job site. He was not and his employee did a poor job of aligning every thing. The posts are crooked on the footings and looks bad. When we inquired about it he just stood there and looked at us. Sometimes a week would go by without any work taking place. Getting him to come back for warranty work was another issue, took forever.
