I called Plumbing Experts for the first time and scheduled an appointment to have a plumber look at two faucets - bathroom and kitchen. Chris arrived (without a mask during a pandemic) to assess the situation. He had no parts on hand to fix anything. He suggested that we needed a new bathroom faucet, which we should purchase ourselves at a Home Depot or Lowe's, and that we should also call Moen for parts for the kitchen faucet. Once we have these items, we were instructed to call back for a scheduled install time. He then charged us $79 for a "service call". I am not a plumber, which is why I called a professional. I attempted to find parts for our kitchen faucet, but I have no idea what they are or what type of faucet we have. Chris told me that purchasing these parts myself would ultimately save money, but he quoted me $200 per faucet for labor. Even if each faucet takes one hour, that is a very steep hourly rate. If you choose to use Plumbing Experts, know that a service call is actually just a $79 estimate for a very expensive plumber (if you're willing to supply your own parts).

The project went well. Eric and his team were easy to work with. He give me an estimate on the phone and when he got here and looked at the job the price he quoted remained the same. We scheduled the work and his labor crew came and busted out the concrete. This took 2 days and they were careful as they worked. They swept up each day and were professional. Once the concreate was removed they put in the new drain line to the main stack, new water supply lines with emergency shut offs and installed a new floor drain at my request. I paid when the job was done and they sent me a lein waiver and receipt. I would hire them again as they were easy to work with.

Early on a Sunday morning our dishwasher overflowed, flooding the kitchen and portions of the basement. It was a real emergency as we couldn't get the water to stop flowing from the unit - even after we (thought we had) closed the valve bringing it water - unless we shut off all water to the house. I called Eric and he asked me a few questions about what was happening to assess the situation, then said he would come by between 10 and 11 o'clock, which he did. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a failed shut-off valve on the unit's water line and replaced it in short order. We got the problem resolved quickly and did not have to go without water for an extended period of time. Eric was professional, friendly, and spent the time necessary to explain what happened in a way I could understand it. We were worried about getting good service at a reasonable cost, especially early on a Sunday morning, but we couldn't be happier with this company and Eric! I recommend them wholeheartedly!

We also wear mask upon request, it is difficult to wear in confined spaces and your plumber you had also has asthma, so Our apologies for this misunderstanding. The plumber was very nice and correctly diagnosed the issue. However, he did not completely finish the job. When I asked about him replacing the shower head, which was included in the kit, he said that would cost extra and that I could do it. He also left a mess from when he had to open the wall in the closet for access.

Short version: overpriced for services without a proper bid. Would not recommend. Here's the timeline if you'd like to learn more: Arrived for "appointment" after we called them to check availability - we did not set up appointment. Came in unmarked white van. No bids offered for jobs (I was out of town and my spouse thought I had authorized so didn't question it, I thought she had authorized the appointment - she had not, neither of us did). Took apart the shower tub drain to quote on replacing it - did not reinstall, left in a mess. Did complete the flapper install and sink drain snaking - the only reason this review is not an F, but charged full amount including "minimum charge" for both jobs, even without travel time, etc. Snaking the drain was about a 5 minute job - not worth $179. Total amount charged was $358 for about 1 hour. Sorry guys - know you count on good reviews for your business - but didn't earn it this time.

"First of all we do not charge by the hour. We showed up to do the work, you pointed the plumber to see the problems and told him to fix them you had a conference call. Then when done you expressed the last guy charged $40 an hour which is not a company nor a handy man. That’s more a side job or favor. All is working ok but it’s just about the price, not a reason for a bad review. You have a responsibility as a consumer as well. If you would have called the office and spoke to a manager regarding your experience and opinion we could have resolved this with no problem. I've been a homeowner for 25 yrs. and this company is the absolute WORST I've ever worked with. They were the first to come in with a bid so I hired them. Their repair did not fix the problem, nor did they show up to finish their work. It's been 6 weeks, they promise a date but then don't show up. They won't return calls. It's been a nightmare. At this point I'm out 3K & will have to hire someone else to come in and finish the job. I'll definitely be reporting Plumbing Experts LLC to the Better Business Bureau in addition to posting negative reviews. Hopefully no one else ends up in a similar situation with this company.

"I am sorry you feel this way. You had multiple leaks coming from 2 bathrooms. We fixed one because that’s what was found in the initial visit. The diving problem was a sending issue in addition to the originals issue. We offered to replace the doors at our cost and upon replacing them your wall fell apart to the extent of you having to hire a carpenter to do work to the walls removing old wet rotted walls so the doors could even be installed. The original issue found was fixed, unfortunately your home is 25+ years old and in need of extensive repairs in multiple areas."
