This company was very easy to deal with from quote to install. Bryan was understanding of our needs and helped steer us toward the right doors that fit those needs down to the smallest details. Their door and window lead installer has years of experience. Any house more than a few years old has some kind of issues on install but their installer was able to adjust and quickly remedy any house issues for a perfect install. Covid slowed down the process of getting the doors built from the factory but I can't hold that against New Transitions and when the doors did come in their scheduler called right away. Bryan was very responsive during the wait time between order and delivery of our doors. I'll be putting this company high on my quote list for my upcoming bathroom remodel.

Bryan’s team did a great job on the replacement windows for our main floor. The work was done fast and clean and we hardly noticed that it was 16 degrees outside when they removed the old windows. The new windows are noticeably better insulated. Now we need him to replace the all the upstairs windows.

Bryan did an amazing job with our kitchen / half bath remodel! Bryan’s work is exceptional quality and his organization and cleanliness during the job are unbelievable! He was so great to work with, really flexible when it came to late design changes, material choices/options and timing. He came up with great ideas where we needed help and was able to easily work through odd challenges that appear in an old house. Would recommend as top choice to anyone looking for a major kitchen/bath reno!

I couldn't be more pleased. I had gotten three bids for the job (All from Angi), and New Transitions was the lowest cost, based on their Angi coupon. Bryan was up front and explained the entire process of what my window replacement would entail, including the final price. He was also very honest about how long the windows would take, given the pandemic. They did take four months to come in, and he gave me regular updates. Once the windows arrived, Ginger called me to set up a date for installation. Right on time that day, his installer Ron was right on time, and the installation for all six windows took six hours. The windows look fabulous, and they left my house as clean as they found it. I would absolutely recommend New Transitions. As a matter of fact, I already have recommended them to a friend. Completely satisfied so far.

Bryan did another excellent job at our home. This is the third time we have used his company in the past three years. He built a wall closing off an extra pass thru between rooms and wired new outlets for us to hang a big screen tv. The wall is perfect and we really enjoy having some closed off space in an open concept main level. Bryan is a hard worker and gets the job done right. Looking forward to using his services on other future projects!

Bryan Ousley was the perfect choice for our ambitious kitchen and breakfast room remodel. After meeting with two other independent contractors and three remodeling companies -- and getting quotes ranging from $20,000 to $80,000 -- we finally found Bryan through a recommendation of a friend. The friend told us two main things about Bryan: He was obsessed with cleanliness and leaving a clean worksite at the end of the day, and he gave his full attention to a job once he got started. We selected Bryan because, although he was not the cheapest option, he seemed like the right fit for us. We had a clear idea of what we wanted and he had a clear idea of how to get it done. He was dependable and a clear communicator, providing accurate schedules for himself and the other independent contractors that he hired. We had several additional projects that we chose to include in the remodel along the way, which he estimated and worked into the production schedule without complaint. Bryan Ousley will be our first choice for any future remodeling projects.

This is the second time we have used them to replace windows and doors. This is a great company with some really experienced couple of guys that just do windows. One of the gentlemen have been doing windows and doors since the 80’s. The windows are well insulated on both sides and each piece of trim is perfectly cut to fit the outside of each window and then caulked. Their work is excellent. Last year, I refered them to a friend and they replaced all the windows in her home. She loves the windows and loved the crew. I will keep referring them to as many people as I can because they are top notch in the business for quality, workmanship, price and just a really nice group of guys.

We are SO pleased with Bryan's renovation of our bathroom. We appreciated his knowledgeable, down-to-earth, personalized approach. He was honest about what needed to be done, and then did everything he said he would do. The quality of the product and installation is awesome. We were especially glad we had chosen Bryan when he discovered that the subfloor under the shower had rotted and replaced it. Had we gone with one of the "cover it up" companies, we would never have known, and might have wound up finishing a shower in the basement! We had to wait a bit for the installation since Bryan is a "one stop shop," but we weren't in a hurry, and it was definitely worth the wait! We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Brian was amazing! We were so thrilled with everything about him. From his solid communication, friendly attitude, pricing, punctuality, you name it. Would 100% hire again. He kept the space super tidy as he worked, did a phenomenal job. We even asked him to do a couple things that we found weren't working properly while he was there and he fixed them no questions asked. Stellar guy, a real pro. Thanks so much, Brian!

We can't say enough about Bryan at New Transitions for the contracting work he performed on our hall bath and half bath in our new house. We had obtained a few bids and Bryan's was reasonable, but since this was our first ever remodeling project what sold us on Bryan was him taking the time to explain everything about the project. We had just moved into an old house with young kids and had concerns about things like old paint. Bryan is personable, engaged with all of us including our son, and did a phenomenal job putting us at ease with his experience and knowledge. Given the nature of the jobs, there was minimal disruption as any debris was cleaned up each day. Bryan does most of all the work himself, with some help for major plumbing, and we can tell there was a high level of quality to the work. This included a full tearout of a hall bath and half bath, retiling of floors, drywall, a new cabinet tub and furnishings, some reuse of appliances, and a new window. Bryan even helped us out with 1 or 2 other smaller items in our kitchen. The bathroom projects were completed on schedule, turned out beautifully and it was great having him around. Highly recommend!

Bryan showed up on right on time for every appointment, which was quite refreshing. He was well spoken, friendly, and even volunteered to take his shoes off in the house (much appreciated). We needed our sunroom and main bath windows replaced, and he was quite patient with the myriad of questions I had during the appointment and after the appointment. If he was annoyed with my bazillions changes in the kind of windows I wanted, he didn't show it. The installer arrived punctually, and completed the job quickly in one day. The caps on the window sides were somewhat askew, and when Bryan came to inspect the final product, he quickly rectified the situation by returning himself a couple of weeks later and replaced the caps properly. Bryan's pricing was not the cheapest, nor the priciest. However, I felt that he was honest and was good for his word. He was courteous, efficient, and I would absolutely hire him again for future projects. We installed vinyl windows that look great. It's only been in a few weeks, so not sure about durability just yet, but I can rest a lot better knowing Bryan will fix any issues that may arise.

New Transitions replaced our 30 year old floors, counters, sinks and plumbing. Thanks to Brian's skill I finally have a gas stove top with new down draft connection and new super quiet dishwasher. I love the quartz counter tops we used throughout the kitchen, downstairs half-bath, bar and even my planning desk. The meticulously laid porcelain tile floor is a wonderful to walk on and ample evidence of expertise and artistry that New Transitions brings to each and every project. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of working with New Transitions.

I found Bryan Ousley of New Transitions through Angie's List. From the start, he impressed us with his professionalism. He listened closely to what we were looking for in our kitchen and bathroom remodel and responded with a plan that perfectly matched our vision. He kept us thoroughly updated throughout the process, especially when a supplier sent our new tub to the wrong state. He was punctual and fastidiously neat. Plus he was just a nice, jovial guy to work with. We would definitely work with him again and recommend him with the highest praise.

We are very pleased with the job Bryan did on our bathroom. We have a 1920s home with a bathroom that was long overdue for renovation. Bryan used our plans and completed all the work. He did all the demo, framing, walls, complicated tile work, flooring. He had an electrician and plumber in to do their portions. Bryan was very easy to work with and did beautiful work. He helped identify and solve some difficult issues. Once he began, he came daily until it was done. The whole process took about 5-6 weeks. The initial bid was given in September and began at the start of the new year as he expected. We wish we could have him do all our home projects! Highly recommended.

Description of Work
We had put our house up for sale and realized that we still had a problem with a small leak in our basement. After trying different methods to remedy the problem and talking to a number of different companies, we ended up calling Brian Ousley with New Transitions. He came out right away, was very honest and knowledgeable. He really put our minds at ease during a stressful time of selling our house. He got the windows in in time to close on our house. I would definitely use him again. His honesty was refreshing after dealing with some awful companies.

Extremely pleased with the entire process. Bryan is the company owner who worked with us in deciding what windows to install. Very knowledgeable and likable, he was interested in making us happy, not just selling whatever he could. The sales cycle was no pressure. Once we signed the contract, he said it would take 6-8 weeks for the windows to be manufactured, which it did. They scheduled a convenient time for us when the windows were ready. Two gentlemen, Nick (the foreman) and Justin, did the installation. These guys work with Bryan all the time, so they new exactly how the job should be handled. It was a tough job with a lot of strenuous labor, as two of the windows were over-sized double picture windows with an attached half round, installed on the second story. They too, were interested in doing the job right, not just "get in and get out". Two examples illustrate that. First, when they removed our kitchen window, the plywood exterior had some water damage and was rotting. Not terrible, but noticeable. Nick made sure to point this out to me immediately. I asked what he would do. He said they could put the window on top of it, and it would probably never cause a problem, but he suggested replacing the entire piece of plywood. So that's what they did. At the end of the project, when I tried to pay them extra for that work, he and Bryan wouldn't accept anything. They said it wasn't that big a deal, and was just something that should be done. The second example of professionalism was on the last (third) day, when they were installing the second-story windows. The sun was scorching, and yet they exhibited patience and care, even though it took a couple hours longer than they'd anticipated. Oh yeah -- the windows look great, both from the inside and out! It's like we're in a new home. Lastly, we feel confident that if we have a question or issue with the windows, that Bryan will take care of us. [Full disclosure: These guys are not friends or family; we had never met any of them before.]

Bryan with New Transitions was great to work with from start to finish. We were seeking to remove a shower tower installed by the previous owner and replace with a standard shower head and valve. Bryan walked us through the job, linked us up with his tile wholesaler, who were also great to work with, to pick out our materials and then fit us in between others jobs since ours was relatively small. In addition to the high quality of the work performed, Bryan was always on time, communicated very well throughout the entire process and is very, very easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone looking to tackle small or large bath and kitchen remodels.

Where do i even begin? Bryan and Mark are amazing to work with, very genuine and honest, and professional. Bryan explained they work one job at a time, so once they start, my house would have their full attention. Even before they begin active work in the house, Bryan confirms that he has everything picked out with me ie countertops and cabinets, and ordered, so that everything they need is here and ready to go when they start! We were dreading the idea of renovations for some time, worried about the inconvenience and mess of it all. Bryan and Mark clean up after themselves each day, not that they even make a mess to begin with! As far as inconvenience, that was so minimal... they were done with our master bathroom within two weeks of tearing out the old shower!!!! We are thrilled with our updates, and equally happy to have met Bryan and Mark. Thank you for making it all look so easy!
Description of Work
We had a laundry list of items, to update some rooms throughout our home. In our family room, we asked them to remove old ceiling lighting, and install recessed lighting. We had counters, sinks, and sink fixtures, light fixtures, and mirrors replaced in all bathrooms. In the kitchen, they replaced old wall oven with a double oven, moved and replaced microwave and cooktop, added beautiful trim to the cabinets, replaced under cabinet lights. The biggest project was updating the master bathroom - new cabinets, quartz counters, sink and tub fixtures, light fixtures, and mirrors. They tore out the old shower, and gave us a larger, beautiful walk in shower. A partial wall was removed, and replaced by glass enclosure... we love it!!!!

We just had New Transitions replace a number of our windows and are again very pleased. The work was never performed. Someone came by in August to see what work I needed. He explained to me they were booked up through November and possible December. I thought that was strange and unorganized to not know how much work you have booked, anyway, I told him I was OK with waiting since it wasn't urgent since I had a shower I could use in the other bathroom. I wanted to use this company since they are so highly rated on Angie's List. He used his tape measure a couple of times and took "measurements". He told me he would have someone send me an estimate to my email. So, I gave him my email and he left. That was the absolute last time I heard from him or his company. It is now November 8 and not a peep. I felt it was extremely unprofessional to not at least call to keep me in the loop. I would have even appreciated a phone call to let me know that they were unable to do the work. Very unorganized and very unprofessional. Clearly this failing company does not care about their customers. The lack of organization leads me to wonder what quality of work they perform.

Service Provider Response

Mr. [Member Name Removed], a proposal for the work we discussed was emailed to your email on 7/27/17 at 2:24 pm. I never received a default that it was the wrong email. This was a 2 day response from the day I looked a your project. I stated we were booked into November and possibly December because we are always having outstanding proposals coming in and by the time you received your proposal and made a decision that we would probably booked into December. New Transitions takes pride in doing quality professional work and has always been concerned about reputation. That being said a phone call to us would probably been just before condemning us on social media when our part of the process was followed .ie. the email on 7/27/17 at 2:24 pm within 2 days of looking at the project. I would be glad to speak with you about this matter and have left a voicemail on your phone this morning 7/13/17 at approx. 7:30 am. I would hope with this information you would see fit to remove this rating on Angie's List as we feel it is unfair and unjust. Sincerely, Bryan Ousley 11/27/17...... I have since this response tried 2 additional times to get in contact with Mr. [Member Name Removed] but he will not return my phone calls.
