"The scope of this project was to redirect water flowing into the pool and onto the driveway to a new location in the yard. Every objective of the project was met and successful. The client then became concerned that water was flowing onto the lawn and wanted us to construct a 12 x 12 water retention basin to hold the water back. We gave him an estimate for the basin and offered two other options that could be completed at less cost. The client would only consider the basin so we offered to construct the basin at the price of materials which was not satisfactory. The client simply wanted a couple thousand dollars of work completed for free."
"KPM was contracted to provide hardscapes for this project. Half way through the project our workers arrived at the site to find 70K worth of equipment missing. The homeowner claimed to know nothing about it. We filed a theft report with St. Charles County Police and about a week later was informed that the home owner had taken the equipment. A total of 64K worth of equipment was recovered from the home owner, but 6K is still missing. At that point we did stop working the job and the homeowner provided this incredibly deceitful and dishonest review. What is just as disappointing is the way Home Advisors has handled this dispute.
