The electrician arrived and still had his cigar, unlit, in his mouth and kept it during the entire visit. He told me the water was coming in from the line into the house and asked his assistant to duct seal it. He told me that the bad news was that the electrical box needed to be replaced, and possibly the outside box as well. He said there was rust inside the box that would cause problems. He verbally quoted me a "reasonable" price of $1075.00 to replace the box. I got a second opinion from another electrician and the original home inspector and found that not only is the box o.k. as it is, but Jerry overpriced the replacement by over $400.00. This, in addition to the unprofessional cigar, made me rate the service as I have.
