Green Envy Lawns

We have been customers for many years and have used their landscaping program for about 2-3 years. I cancelled the landscaping only in late May, it was getting too expensive. Less than 4 weeks later I get an "estimate" that said everything was basically infested with pests and needed to "call today to prevent further damage." My husband called to ask why, so soon after our last treatment, everything was infested. Lindsey was very nice; she understood his concern and would have someone follow up. A week later, no one called so he called back and got a different lady who was patronizing, rude, and said "he was blowing everything out of proportion." She kept referencing that we had cancelled the service, even though he kept asking her why things were so bad after less than 4 weeks. She then admitted that the "estimate" was advertising and blown out of proportion, that maybe he saw ONE Japanese Beetle as opposed to "JB's present!! Needs immediate attention!!" THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING.

This company if a bunch of amateurs whose only response to a problem is another application. I was overrun with crab grass last year and no one followed up on my concerns. This problem was experienced with this service provider among many of the neighbors. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your lawn service

I signed up for 5-6 treatments and I stopped the service after the third treatment. Besides fertilizing the grass, I specifically asked to have weeds and crabgrass addressed. The second treatment included a crabgrass preventer. After the second treatment, I called and emailed the company as I felt the treatments were not being done properly. Because of Covid 19, I was working at home and did not even notice that the technician had come each of the three visits. I even offered to share pictures with Green Envy showing how the technician appeared to leave more fertilizer on the road rather on my lawn. It is now July and the crabgrass in my lawn is very bad. I took pictures and sent them to the company. I would not recommend this company. There sales pitch is slick, but the actual lawn service in quite poor.

They have done a good job so far. They have been responsive to my needs and I will continue to use them .

I would highly recommend Green Envy! My lawn has never looked better!!

I only had the first of many application for the season. Very please with the first application. I was also very pleased with the attentiveness paid while having the service set-up.

They missed necessary treatments and as a result lots of weeds/crabgrass occurred. I have NEVER had a yard look so bad as when Green Envy took over.

They've been working on my lawn for about a year. It looks much better, but I think I'll know more in another year. They are kind of pricey...but very high quality.

They said it would take 2 years to get my lawn back in shape. It has only been the first year and I am already seeing an improvement. The "specialists" have been very courteous and helpful. I am having the full service done.

Our yard looks better than any yard in the neighborhood. I am continuing the service.

The service is always good. They are quick and reliable. I have been using them for 3 years.

They are reliable, reasonably priced, very friendly and very flexible. They do an excellent job on the lawn. My lawn has never looked better.

Green Envy sucked. The big thing that I was complaining about is, my neighbors would tell me that they would come and it would take them 7 minutes form the time they pulled up until they left. And you can't walk around my property in a normal pace in 7 minutes. And, I told them I wanted to be there when they did the service and they would never call ahead of time. I'd go outside and there would be a little sign in my yard saying they had been there. They just didn't do a good job. Unless we were out there watching. We had a contract and then they called me up about 4 months later and raised the price.

I  generally do the yard work myself... it just relaxes me. But when my wife gave birth, I had other priorities, and these guys came out to the house to peddle their services, and I thought it would be helpful since I was so busy. They applied one application, and my yard seemed to brown up quite a bit. I also got more weeds than I had ever seen. Once was enough and I decided I no longer needed their service. They were quite rude and aggressive regarding the bill, but I did pay it and formally requested in an accompanying letter that service be discontinued permanently. I stated that if they show back up, I will refuse any service and payment. Well this spring they  gave me a call again... and again... and again... and again! They typically do not leave a message. You would think that they would take the hint after a while, but they just dont. Then I spoke to them and thought that I was being pretty nice, yet firm that I will never use their service again. In fact, I dont think they could do nearly as good of a job as I have done on my own yard. They guy I spoke with was VERY pushy!! It didnt matter how many times I refused service, or that I had a very bad experience with them previously... the guy just kept hounding me and got somewhat belligerent. I actually had to hang up on the guy in the middle of his rant, and then block their number!! This experience was unreal and if they call me again, there is going to be trouble!

I will NEVER use this company again.  After phoning and cancelling their service (I wasn't happy with the results of my lawn), they went ahead and applied another fertilizer application to my lawn - then tried to collect a $41 fee for the application.  After calling and disputing the bill, I was told the bill would be cancelled.  I continued to get bills and increasingly irate late notices for the $41 charge, regardless of the number of calls I made and verbal agreements I got to rescind the bill.  I finally had to get both Angie's List and the BBB involved to get the company to stop hassseling me and the overdue bill removed from my cancelled account.  This company definitely has aggressive billing and selling tactics.

The workers are awesome because besides the initial conversation we have with the sales guy they knock on our door and if we are not home they will go ahead and do what we have agreed on for them to do. They bill my account which is awesome. I need not worry about their payment. They leave a note on our door a list of the things they have done and reminding us of anything which we need to do, like in between this visit and the next visit. It is very clear and concise. If I need any additional service in between regular scheduled maintenance they will come out for free. They are fabulous. The only drawback is that they are much specialised. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It is great that they take care of the lawn. But at the same time we need someone to help us out with the landscaping and mowing and so on. . The only reason that I would leave Green Envy is for a company that offers more services. I am happy that we decided to go with this company because they are specialists like in lawn fertilization.

They are responsible. They give discounts to seniors. They just helped me with the problem that I had with my lawn. The only thing I don’t like about them is, they always talk you into something else. Everything else they are fine with. I would use their services again in the future.
