Design process was great, construction process was horribly communicated with poor service along the way from the scheduler. We have leaks and out of pocket repairs within the first year in which Blue Haven will not honor their warranty for. Find a company that honors their contract.

Work is very poor at best. Project Manager totally sucked. They were nowhere around as pool is being built. They recommended a concrete person for pool decking, they were to make sure that the concrete met the brick coping. There is a significant height and space between the brick and concrete. They outsourced workers from Tennessee to do brick and tile, they used my outdoor hose when we had just had freezing temps and flooded my basement. they offered no reimbursement. Damaged ceiling and drywall. Then they left my yard a mess when done with project, I called and called, finally the owner came out with a back hoe and cleaned up mess. Shelf in pool has Never been smooth, project manager stated at time it would smooth out. Well it never did and is down to the concrete. Pool needs total plaster job! Tile well the tile work is terrible too. Pieces falling off on the fountain wall and pattern does not match up well. They have come out and re caulked the gap in the concrete coping several times, it takes so long for someone to call you back that we just do it ourselves. I am so disappointed with this company and will not call them for ANY type of repair work. I give them overall a D-.

The beginning of the process went very well.   We met with the designer and came up with a great design.  We were told that the project would be complete in approximately 8 to 10 weeks.  They came to our house as scheduled but immediately started

to make excuses about the finish date.  The onsite guy said 10 weeks would be difficult, he thought 12 weeks was correct.  To make a long story short, after multiple problems, not having their sub contractors lined up, not having the correct materials and not showing up when they said they would, multiple times, we could swim in our pool 18 weeks after they started.  The project wasn't done, it took two more months before they finally caulked the coping.  Today. 11/9/2014, 9 months later we still don't have our pool cover installed.

The lady in their office named Rose, was they only person who actually told us the truth when we would call or show up at their office to find out where they were and what was going on.

Blue Haven builds a quality pool, but unless you have a lot of patience, I would not use them again.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and my pool looks much better now than it did before.  However, it took a LONG time to finish the job.  I signed the contract in February, and they didn't finish until July.  There were some weather delays, but I feel the job should have taken less time.  The company was always slow to respond to questions when I called.  I would often have to wait several days to a week for the project manager to get back with me.  Also I had a concern about fixing an existing leak in my pool before starting the job, in case they had to dig up any pipes.  They pressure tested the pipes and said there was no leak.  However now that the job is done, the pool is still leaking a half inch per day.

My pool was great but the designer was phenomenal, the designer is the reason that we went with this pool company. I had three people I was looking at, one never called me back after two times and then these first came out and this guy was so awesome that he told me on this pool company. The designer was awesome. He really listened to what we want and designed just what we want, he didn't sell us on a bigger pool. The quality was really good and there were some other folks that worked on as contractors, they were awesome.

They did okay. We were not happy with some of the stuff. They got the pool in, though. We just got a couple of things that had gone wrong and the finish does not seem to be right still so we are still working through that. We had a blower motor blow out and we just replaced that.
