"This job was professionally performed at a fair market price . I have not been aware of Angieslist or known of this complaint until very recently . This was many years ago and I did not know that the customer was unsatisfied with our work . I would never have left this unresolved. As she stated , we replaced her roof at a fair price and worked with her ins. co. to insure her best interests in the project. Her roof had additional storm (wind) damage again shortly after the replacement . This is a steep , tall roof and we charged her only $400.00 to make the repair . I certainly wish she would have gotten other bids for this repair as I am sure she would have found our price very fair . I suppose she had problems going through her ins. co. for an additional $400.00 so soon after the original replacement . We cannot control the weather of coarse and there was another storm and small damage soon after new roof completion . We try to be helpful and understanding in these situations , however we do have to be paid for our services . I certainly regret That the customer did not call me and voice her concerns instead of making them known this way. I always try to work out any issues with my customers in a fair and responsible way . Again , this roof was installed many,many years ago and must be serving her well as I have not heard from her since. Still , I would welcome the chance to regain her confidence in our company. I have been in business for over 30 years and I have a great list of satisfied customers and no "known" unresolved issues ."

"I regret that the customer did not contact me about her concerns . The problem with the leak must have been solved . I try to be very professional , have Never been referred to as "shady" in my whole career. When you take a car in to replace a part , sometimes there are other parts that surface and need replacing . Nobody likes to hear it or pay more but these things happen . As I remember , this is much the same situation with Ms Crisp's roof . There were additional problems and additional areas that leaked . I never knew she was so unsatisfied with us . I believe it is unfair to post complaints and information this way without an opportunity to first resolve the issue in a good , kind, considerate way without attempting lasting damage to a 30 year family buss. . I would be glad to hear from the customer and welcome an opportunity to regain her confidence ..and see how the roof is doing !"
