"This is an example of the 1% of customers that cannot be pleased. Customer picked the color and then changed her mind the day of install. I told her it was no big deal that she could pick another color and I would return the other. She said no the original color she picked was fine. Not until a week later did she start complaining about the color, even though she was given multiple opportunities to change colors. The window was broken and I appologized for that and tried to clean it up, however her boyfriend said not to worry about it he would clean it up. I asked if I could board it up until I could have it repaired and was told not to worry cause there was a storm window that could be closed to keep out the mild fall elements. I had a glass company come out 3 times and the customer would not let them in the house or would not answer the door so repairs could be done. Finally I offered to pay her for the damaged window and she accepted my check to have repairs done herself. A month later I noticed new windows in the whole house, I'm sure paid for with the insurance settlement I negotiated with her insurance carrier. I informed her that I hadn't been paid for the weather cap and would gladly repair what I was paid for. This customer called me repeatidly to cuss me and call me a liar. I re-roofed 5 of her neighbors and one of her friends homes after her house was completed, and none of them canceled or complained. Her opinion dosn't carry much weight to those who know her."
