Excellent job -- we are totally satisfied. There were 2 guys on the job. Both very courteous and professional. Day 1 remove old tile and apply underlayment. Day two set the new tile. Day 3 grout. Day 4 apply sealer. (not full days) They showed up on time, worked quickly and clearly had significant experience. Used runners to protect the carpet through the house, hung protective curtain to prevent dust, did a really thorough job all the way through. They fixed a squeak in the floor that was not the floor at all (it was a wall plate on a load bearing wall that had warped ... they simply placed shims to eliminate the gap -- an easy and no-cost fix to a problem we've tolerated for years!!). The base was prepared properly and tile was aligned perfectly with consistent spacing. Tile cuts were planned to make the best appearance in the main areas with partial tiles as out-of-site as possible. Grout was applied thoroughly and evenly -- just the right depth and sealed. The materials used for mortar, grout and sealer were best quality available. Wood trim was replaced around the cabinets -- precise cuts and alignment made this look better than we have ever seen it.
