Mediacom

Our internet went out on friday 2/28/14 and called them on saturday 3/1/14 to have them come out and fix it. The earliest service date they had available was friday 3/7/14, I said that was unexceptable and they said they would call me either monday or tuesday morning to see if anything earlier became available. They never called me on monday or tuesday. I even tried gettting a new modem to see if that was the problem and it still did not work. So I called them back and after having to ask repeatedly to speak to a manager I was finally able to speak with one as I felt they should credit me the amount of days I was without internet and give me a credit for then having to use the internet on my phone which was not free. The manager said they would not pay for my equipment not working, at which point I informed her it is not my equipment it is theirs and it's refurbished equipment that does not even show the power light when it is on. The manager finally agreed to credit me for 5 days even though I will have been without interet for at least 6.

The cable guy was very polite and very fast it only took 10 minutes to set up my home phone and the cable was very a quick install as well.
