Gary Bell Painting

I own and old Victorian home and paint was chipped badly on the Eastside. The few people who I called did not want the job and gave an astronomical price. Gary not only was willing to do the job, he also gave a fair price. I was more than pleased with the final product.

Gary and his daughter have done a great job on numerous properties of mine. Their pricing is good and so is their work. They have painted inside and outside as well as put down laminate and engineering hardwood flooring. I'd highly recommend them!

Painting was good, however, they did not give us a very good estimate on the amount of paint we would need so we had to make extra trips to buy more paint. Gary did get some for us and brought to the job on at least one occasion (maybe two) so that helped. Our new construction is in the country so it wasn't that convenient to go into Springfield every time we needed more paint. Otherwise, very pleased with their work.

Gary and his daughter were very prompt, efficient, and professional. I would recommend him for your paint job!

Gary did a fantastic job painting part of our home that was under a remodel. We have high walls and ceilings and a very unique spiraling staircase and he did it perfectly. We are very happy with his work and very reasonable. We highly recommend and would definitely use him again.

Gary did a wonderful job for us.  We had started to paint ourselves (a few rooms), so he quoted the job for the house and removed the rooms we completed off the quote.
He was very flexible with our schedule and very professional.
His work was excellent, and we really appreciated his positive attitude.
He definitely knows his stuff and gave us an almost 100% accurate estimate of how much paint we would need.  (I think we had 1/2 a gallon left when he was done.)
He was a life saver, and we would recommend him to anyone who needs painting done.

Gary and his son are very punctual. They return phone calls, follow up, and do good work. A deer died on my property while I was away for the week as they were doing the job. Gary called all over trying to get the deer taken care of (to no avail, but not for lack of trying). This was a huge job. They finished in a week, and the house looks great. There were some minor issues that have been touched up, but they will need to return as some things were missed on their touch-up visit. Gary said that when we get the house sold and get the furniture out, they would come and do further touch ups because the paint they had to cover is horrible and difficult to cover even with multiple coats. These were just two very professional, NICE, TRUSTWORTHY, hard working gentlemen (I left them for a week with free and clear access to my home with no issue) whom I would confidently recommend and certainly hire again.

Excellent job!

He did an excellent job. I would definitely use him again.

Gary arrived on time and worked hard to complete the work.  The deck required two coats of Deck Over in most places and three coats on the top rail.  The work took longer than anticipated, but was done with attention to detail.  Gary took his time and did a really nice job for us that should last for quite a few years.  We are happy with the result and the price was reasonable.

Gary accurately described when he would be available to do the work.  He was prompt, reasonably priced and did a great job.

Gary did some scraping and touch-up trim painting on one house and a full-paint and trim on the second story dormer of another house.  He arrived early, stayed late, finished each job on time, and both jobs look great.

We've had a couple of other bad experiences before this, with other painters, who were sloppy and went over their estimated bids. What a refreshing experience it was to have Gary Bell do such a great job for us! We'd use him again, and highly recommend him to anyone who needs any size paint job - inside or out. Gary has been very responsive, polite, and honest in his work.  He works until the job is right, and in our case, where the original paint was dark, kept repainting until it looked good.  Very reasonable pricing, and has a good work ethic.
