Spic-N-Span 2 Gals & A Van

Different people; smokers; inconsistent; emailed pictures of the Masterbath the day it was cleaned because it was done in such a haphazard way.  Response was quick but did nothing.  Late; car trouble; van broke down.  She came and gave me a list of what they would do.  Said they used non-toxic when possible; said no swiffers would be used.  All hands and knees for floor.  The one lady who I had never seen before was under my kitchen cabinets looking for a brillo pad and when I looked from upstairs there was a swiffer hand duster laying dust side down on my carpet.  I am not sure on the last date of service so the approximate date above is a guesstimate..  

When I first started using them, even up to now there is one consistant girl that comes and there is always a new girl.  One time there was a new girl working that was acting strange and wanted to sit in the car stating she did not feel good.  In that time I noticed something missing from my place.  I talked to the main girl and she did not know anything about it.  I feel the price of $20 an hour is a little pricey.  I called them to confirm an appointment yesterday 6.27.14 and they stated that they would be here and their boss said that they needed to clean others home and not my place.  I received the call today and they stated they were not coming to clean.

The two women came to my home the following week and performed the services requested and them some.  They were efficient, courteous, prompt, and very thorough.  I feel I can have them in my home and leave my purse and wallet unsecured with not a problem.  They are very honest and hardworking women.  I would NOT hesitate to recommend this company.

This company came back 3 times to clean my house's doors and cabinets and couldn't get the job done. Each time there were 3 workers. I gave them with a list of what I wanted cleaned. They did about half the list well, like ceiling fans. My doors jams were not cleaned, they had grease between the doors and frame, and the frames had sticky residue on them. Kitchen cabinets were still dirty on the outside and wood dust and chips were inside one. They were not clean enough to put my food or dished into. I gave them a shot to rectify after the 2nd attempt. When they failed to do the jobs after a 3rd try I did not call them back. I would not recommend them to anyone. The workers can't follow simple instructions even when shown exactly what they missed on the first 2 cleaning dates.

We knew it was going to be a big job and we wanted it done by a company rather than an idependent cleaner.  We had heard of Spic and Span and thought we would give them a try.  They were a little late getting to the house which was inconvenient for us as we were in the middle of moving and had taken time off work to get as much done as possible.  Once they were there though they started right off and we were able to leave them to it.  They ended up calling in another team to help them finish on time, which cost us extra, but they did a good job on the house.  It was completely move-in ready for the next tenents.
I did feel that they could have been more professional.  The person we talked to  on the phone was very professional, but the cleaners themselves would barely talk to us and at one point we could hear them gossiping about us through an open window.  They did a great job cleaning, but it can be hard to let someone into your house even if you are moving out, and as stressed as we were it would have been nice if they had been a little friendlier.

The biggest problem I had with them was they only cleaned half my house.  I have less than 2000 square feet to be cleaned.  Their first time here I was told I had too much stuff to dust so they only got half of it done and they still had 5 houses to do before they headed back to Reeds Spring where they live.  They came one other time and again only cleaned half my house, the half they hadn't gotten to the previous time.  At that rate I was actually paying $200 for one cleaning that took two visits, ridiculous.

I have no complaints and am satisfied that it was a good experience.   I saw their van around town but couldn't find them in the phone directory, so tried Angie's List and found they are listed as Spic 'n Span - Two Gals and a Van.   Can highly recommend them.
