Hansen’s Tree Service

Terrible service and will not stand behind their work. I would not recommend them to anyone. They have costed me a tremendous amount of money fixing their mistakes! Do not use them!

Everything went as planned. Great communication from start to finish.

They came out and they gave me an estimate and I signed the contract and I tried three or four times to contact them about the work and I never hard from them. The only thing is they came out and gave me and estimate an they were prompt. They explained everything and gave me the recommendation, so professionalism as far as that goes was good. I emailed it to them, I called and left a message and I never heard from them. They didn't follow up. The guy came and appeared to be very knowledgeable. He explained everything to me and told me what he suggested and I told him what I wanted to have done based on his recommendation and he wrote up the estimate and there was a place for me to sign it and he said to email it back to him or put it in the mail and I did both. It was a reasonable price.

The team came in and it was a coordinated effort to accomplish the mission.  There are several people to commend:  Johany Reppert (crew leader) and Brad Russel, tree climber
 (at 6'5'' he was so agile climbing the trees and was expert).  Both of these experts worked together like cogs in a clock.... the large oak was felled without damage to close bushes and fencing near to the tree.  My wife remarked that she enjoyed hearing occasional laughter while the work went on.  That should reflect positively on the crew work environment.  My 3rd time using Hansen's and each time I never questioned why.  I trust them!

Crew arrived and without advising they were here, drove large truck onto front lawn. When we realized they were here, we went outside to caution them that the tree being removed was on our sewer line, water and gas lines, and we requested that they be careful about dropping large limbs on the ground. We were told that everything would be tied off so it would not be a problem. The job proceeded smoothly for a few hours. Then we were startled by a vibration that shook the house. We went to the door to see if everything was ok, and realized they were cutting the trunk of the tree into sections that were falling to the ground. Before they finished, we experienced 4 more vibrations that rattled the house, and leave us concerned about the underground lines.

When leaving for the day, they advised that they could not get all the wood on the truck, and would return in a few days to pick up the rest. When we asked if they would pick up the stump debris also at that time, we were advised we had not contracted for that service, that we should look at the fine print on our contract, and if we wanted it removed, to call the office to arrange its removal for an additional charge! Sure enough, in the fine print the contract states complete clean up (except for stump removal debris). Had the person giving us the quote mentioned the additional cost for stump removal debris, we are sure we would have had that added to the quote, and thought nothing of it. The way it was handled we feel like Hansen's pulled a GOTCHA! on us - a bad feeling.

Excellent, arrived at 7:30 with team, supplies and cleaned and completed job by 12:30.

Very hard working crew. Had to reschedule three times due to rain but once started they were very efficient- totally please with their servie

Due to the Branson tornado we had over 60 trees down. Hanson's Tree service had the appropriate equipment and personnel to complete the cleanup on a day rate. Work performs was to remove all of the downed trees and root wads that were uprooted.
I was pleased with their professionalism and promptness.

Basically, they did a very sloppy job, left stump stabs, lots of branches and debris on the ground, cut huge ruts in my yard, left huge holes unfilled with ridges of rock/dirt next to the holes. But the worst thing of all was that they cut off several lower branches of a 100'+ high sycamore tree when they were only supposed to trim off the ends of the lower branches so the mower could get by. They destroyed the appearance and screen of this landmark tree. And then they argued that it was my fault instead of theirs. They also were told to call me before coming out, and they did not do this. I had to hire someone else to clean up their mess. But I could not put the limbs back on the sycamore.
