I have found my go-to chimney and tuck pointing provider! Steve and his team were prompt, courteous and professional. From the initial bid, I understood the work that was taking place, why it needed to be done and I had confidence that it would be done well. They have a nice way of being able to explain things in simple, straightforward terms. I got several bids on my job and nobody was able to match KC Chimney's whole package (price, service and quality). I had confidence in them to do a very big job and they did amazing work for me. I would use them again without hesitation.

KC Chimney was very professional and advised on construction, age, and replacement possibilities for the wood frame chimney and metal flu. He even referred me to a carpenter who is experienced in wood frame chimney repair and building from ground up.

the patch job done on the flashing on the roof only lasted a year but Steve called me and said when he could he would look at it 5-17-17 work was done did last until 10-8-18 I wanted to change my earlier review and I have please trust Steve he does good work

the repair lasted for about a year or a little more. Today there is more leaking around the chimney which is leaking into the attic. There was a limited repair warranty on the material used which is 7 years. this repair w-as done on -5-10-17. I tried to call this business today with no response10-8-18)-

Steve looked up into our chimney, and could show us the debris, cracked tiles and masonry. He recommended installing a metal liner. He went to the basement and noticed that we needed a y vent as well. It all made since to my husband and myself, so we went ahead with the install. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

It went great.... The company owner was able to come over on a short notice to evaluate a chimney for a real estate inspection. The owner was very reassuring that we didn't have any issues of concern. Overall a really good experience.

They were very friendly and professional. There is always a fear that a company will "find" something and charge more money. These guys were great. I highly recommend them.

We had several companies from Angie’s list come out, but none had the honesty and expertise of Steve and crew. Steve walked us through every step of the needed repairs including giving us several options that had a wide range of price points. Absolutely zero unnecessary upscale tactics. Many of the large flashy companies sent kids with months of training. Steve and crew had a lifetime of masonry and chimney experience. The only caveat to KC Chimeny is it one crew. So be sure to book early. The upside is you get to directly deal with the companies owner and get a very personal service experience. Would absolutely hire again. It is just too bad they don’t do more than chimneys.

It seems to have gone very well. No new leaks after the last rain storm!

Steve did a great job on all counts. On the first visit he inspected and cleaned the chimney. He also did an external inspection and repaired a leak in the flashing. On a 2nd visit he patched brick areas where the brick was delaminating as a short term solution and provided a quote for the long term fix. Steve billed me less than the quoted amount on both visits. He was also provided the lowest quote of the 4 service providers I contacted. I would definitely recommend Steve for similar work.

Steve, Jose and Anthony were punctual, performed the agreed-on work in a timely fashion and were very knowledgeable. Steve provided a detailed quote for the work to be done and stood behind his quote even though a couple of more layers of brick needed replacement than he had originally anticipated. Their work was performed within the agreed-on time frame and they performed the work and cleaned up the work space without disturbing my wife's planter area, which was directly under their scaffolding. We were very pleased with their work and would hire again.

Steve's crew did a fabulous job replacing some wood rot on my chimney's. While it visually looks good, the design approach the crew came up with will stop a leak I have been having in my house. They were on time and very efficient. And the cost was very reasonable compared to other bids I received. I would definitely recommend this company!

As I knew KC Chimney had great reviews and I trusted what he had told me, I decided to take no other bids and started the ball rolling with him. ( Steve Logan). He explained all that he would be doing, including installing aluminum liner for the water heater, furnace side of chimney. He also would change the ductwork to three ply as required. He also would grind and tuck point low areas of the area around my roofline power wash, use water repellent crown coat on my chimney. We discussed different furnaces also known as gas log insert to use in my chimney. As my fireplace is not a standard size it was necessary to order a custom fire faceplate to fit the area that would add up to three weeks possibly more to the time when they could be installed he did say he would be back when the temperature was above 40 then he could actually do the the outside chimney parts that needed to be done and that in fact was completed in January. When my faceplate came in for my gas log insert Steve followed up and came to finish up on the insert with the chimney and what was required. At that time of course did the gas line electric what ever was needed and he was also very careful at all times checking the gas connections making sure everything was exactly as it should be. Overall I was very happy with the services provided by Steve with KC chimney. I would recommend him to anyone. I also had him do some additional work for me in my basement just as far as some plaster repair I would recommend KC chimney for any chimney fireplace work that you need to have done. He was always very personable and professional and I am delighted with my finished project.

They were very professional and prompt. We were very happy with the work done to the inside and outside of our chimneys. They power-washed the chimney and mounted our tv on our brick fireplace (which took them over an hour) for free! Highly recommend!

They called ahead, showed up exactly when they said they would, and did a thorough job of cleaning the chimney while protecting my floors from the mess.

Great work and great communications, some minor delays due to weather, etc., but they always kept me well-informed on any revisions to the schedule and showed up on the weekend to "catch up." Appreciated their working with me on design preferences and sharing their expertise to avoid problems in the future.
