.The work was performed in a very professional manner. The individual that performed the repair was very courtious, professional and did a really nice job correcting our water problem. Cleaned up after the repair and walked us through the repair so that we understood what he did and wanted us to feel comfortable with the repair. We were very impressed and will certainly use there service again if other roofing is needed.

Bar none the worst contractor experience we've had.
We were stood up three or four times before having our actual roof installed. We were stood up for the very first appointment and were given the excuse, "I'm sorry, I have no excuse except that I forgot." The ONLY reason we gave them a second chance is because a good friend who is a house painter recommended them. So, we gave them a second chance and stupidly signed a contract with them on the first appointment. It was *at least* six months before our roof was actually put on after that point. It was probably the lousiest excuse for "communication" we've ever seen working with a company. We had to be the ones to contact THEM after each time we were stood up, often without even so much as an apology.
When the time finally came that we were "told" the roof was being installed next week, they failed to show until Thursday of that next week to tell us it would be the NEXT week.
The installation itself was okay. The roof itself was fine. They did leave a giant pile of old shingles on the wires in our backyard when they left for their midday break, so my husband had to send a picture to the guy we had been working with and ask someone to come and remove them. They left behind TONS of nails. I expected nails. You can't possibly get them all, but I am talking at least 100 that following week that I picked up.
Finally, the icing on the cake, they left 30 to 40 nail holes in our ceilings. The nails popped through during all the pounding. We were stood up twice for the supposed walk through, both times WE had to contact THEM to remind them that they had been no-shows. We didn't even get a real apology! "I forgot to put it on my outlook calendar," or something along those lines. So when they finally showed up, my husband asked them to fix the nail holes. Would you believe they told him it's not their responsibility? He reminded them that, essentially, they owed us that and much, much more. To be treated SO poorly was unfathomable, but to be treated so poorly and then to fight that very customer on fixing a problem that YOU created? I mean truly, I have no words. I cannot stress enough how horrible our experience with this business was. To treat a paying customer as though you couldn't care less if you have their business is beyond me. And to not offer us any compensation, but instead, to fight us? Well, I guess that says all much more about this business than I can wrap up in 8000 characters.

They were courteous and prompt.  Worked hard to negotiate with a difficult and rude State Farm Insurance adjuster.  Repaired the roof when they said they would and did it properly.

The new roof looks cheap and the roofers messed up the paint on my house in several areas. They promised to touch up the paint but never did. The sales lady "Kim" talked me into getting a lighter color roof to "make my house look bigger". She was very pushy and insistent about this so I took her suggestion, thinking she must know what she's talking about. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE!!!! It has ruined the whole look of our house and it even makes the house look smaller. I feel SICK about letting her talk me into changing the color. The screens were nailed to the frames crooked, which shows up when the sun is shining on them. They did an overall cheap job and charged a lot. I will never use them again and I would never recommend them to anyone else.
Response from Brown Roofing LLC
"We regret that you were unhappy with the finished product/color of your roof. However, we can only recommend color options. The ultimate decision comes down to the homeowner and what they like or have seen on other houses."

Even though I was a VERY difficult customer, they always treated me with respect and performed an excellent job in replacing my roof and guttering.

They did a great job on adding the porch and everything inside it.  They were very helpful in the design of the porch. THey did a great job supervising the workers. They were punctual and we were very happy with him. We would highly recommend them for roofing or construction work.

To begin with, another company had put up the roof in our house. However, it developed some problems. They made multiple trips to the house and tried to fix the problem. They were unable to fix it. We had other people look at the roof. The stuff that they had last used on the roof had to be removed to make the repairs. My roof is funny; the way a section of it is shaped. They did not seem to have the knack of being able to roof one section and Brown did a very nice job. They looked at the roof. They understood what had to be done. They did a very nice project. They did not charge me exorbitantly to do it. They were very reasonable and very competent.

Everything went well. They were very flexible and used some existing matierial that we already had to cut costs. Their prices were fair, and they even did a little extra work. They accidentally broke something in our attic, but they were responsible and told us what happened and offered to replace it. I was happy with their work overall.

They were professional at their work. They went about their business, and we hardly knew that they were around. They communicated to us about what they were doing and they got the work done just fine.

They put shingle roofing on the damaged area, which was 2/3rds of the roof. They were prompt in coming out. They did a great job. The crew that did the roofing left some stuff in the gutter, I had called them and they had come back, They apologized and cleaned it up.
