For over ten years Winkler’s Lawn Care, LLC has been serving customers in and around Kansas City, MO. Currently, we are based out of Platte City, MO and have been blessed with growth in the industry as the Northland has increased in population. We have built a strong foundation over the years by focusing on the things we do best, the basics of the industry, and taking on work that aligns with our knowledge, skills, and company’s vision. We strive to pass along values like integrity, honesty, and quality to our customers through the work that we perform-after all, that is how we would want to be treated. Winkler's provides residential lawn care service to many homes in the Platte City area and each home they service looks great. I had worked with other lawn care companies in the past with various degrees of success. I decided to switch to Winkler's based on several factors. 1) Their costs were at or lower than all other provided estimates. 2) They do a lot of work in Platte City, so anytime I see one of their technicians it's easy to ask a question. They may not even be working on my lawn but will still take a few minutes to answer any question I might have. 3) The work they do on my lawn, trees, and landscape beds is excellent. I am looking forward to having a beautiful lawn over the next several seasons. Overall I have been very happy with Winkler's and look forward to continuing our professional relationship.
If you are a corporation with a large lawn and no flowers, Winkler is fine. But if you're just a homeowner who no longer wnts to mow the lawn, look elsewhere. We found a man who was unemployed and had started his own small-scale yard business. Lots of TLC. Lower prices. Just what we want.

We did not receive any information about this incident until reading it here on Angie's List, we only received a request to cancel services with no reason as to why. If given the opportunity, we certainly would have responded and resolved the issue. We are not perfect, and we make mistakes, but we pride ourselves in doing the right thing when presented with a problem . I am sorry we did not have any opportunity to make things right. Winkler's services very few commercial/corporate properties, and we are a small, family owned and operated business with a strong focus on relationships with our residential customers. The request that we received was for mowing services. An estimate was approved and the services were scheduled without any request from you for a walk through to be completed prior to work commencing. I am sorry that you feel you were treated like a "corporate business", and we will take this as an opportunity to improve how we manage the expectations of our customers.
