Blaine walked me through this project from start to finish. He even helped me choose the paint colors. In fact, every color I chose was one that he suggested. I would say, "Maybe a gray?" and he would whip out his sample book, point to the perfect shade, and that would be that! I ended up working with a decorator after the painting was completed, and she was really impressed by the job he did on choosing the colors. She took his info and has recommended him to her clients for painting. Much of the home was painted teal. All the trim, doors, molding, built in shelving, everything teal. Dark teal. This was a hard color to cover well. Blaine and his crew spent a full week at the home before we moved in. They painted the dining room, living room, game room, 2 staircases, my daughter's room, the master bedroom, the master dressing room, the downstairs bath, the laundry room, and the family room. They also did two huge built-in shelving units and TONS of trim, including the window trim on a couple of dozen really time-consuming windows. Blaine also painted a bench for me and painted the hardware on two fireplaces a nickel to cover brass. It changed the look of the whole fireplace. Blaine also suggested "poor man's wainscoting" in the family room, where he framed out squared in trim board and created the look of very expensive wainscoting without the price. You can see this in one of the attached pictures. This was not a cheap undertaking, and I'm sure there are cheaper painters out there. But Blaine and his crew know their stuff and did an impeccable job. You get what you pay for, and I considered this investment an important one. He even sent a crew member back to spend two entire days touching up all the paint (even on rooms they did not paint), covering any spots that were missed, and redoing a couple of shelves that I wasn't absolutely happy with. He returns calls promptly, shows up when he says he will, and is a really nice guy to work with. The crew is also wonderful. Johnny spent two days here finishing up and did a great job. I will absolutely use this company again. In fact, Blaine is coming this week to give me an estimate on staining my fence! A superb job.
