I liked their honesty and price. I would use them in the future

I got 4 bids, 2 were over a $1000 higher, 2 were both Carrier and same model. All companies had good ratings with Angie's List. Price difference was within $50 on the 2 selling Carrier. Both offered to put freon in our old unit to hold us over until they could install new. I think both companies would have done good work but Banister offered to increase size of coil at no additional cost and from the beginning offered a written 1 year satisfaction guarantee and a written 10 year warranty on all parts and labor if we had annual service done by any  AC company. The other company offered the standard 1, 5, 10 with option to buy extended warranty.

We have dealt with lady in office, two installers and one service technician (who sold us the AC) and all have been courteous, helpful and said, "what else can we do make sure you are a satisfied customer?"

I have had several scam artists show up at my house and take my money. I've had about 10 different companies work on my systems. I am on my second unit that had missing parts on it when it was installed. After many many problems, I finally found Eric at Bannister heating and cooling. He informed us for our heat pump to work properly we needed new thermostat. We had him replace the thermostat and over the weekend it started doing weird things so we called him back out and he looked it over and informed us our new unit had to big of a furnace on it and it keep tripping so he fixed it by turning the furnace fan down. Eric fixed it finally! He is a very honest and very good at what he does. I will not use anyone else ever on my house. Bannister heating and cooling really know their work!
